NEET Exam Date 2024 has been announced by NTA on the official website. As per the announcement, the NEET 2024 exam will be conducted on May 5, 2024. However, students must note that the city intimation slip for the NEET UG exam has been released on Apr 24, 2024.

To appear in the exam, candidates must download the NEET admit card 2024. The admit card for NEET exam is expected to be released in May 2024. The advisory has been released considering the difficulties being faced by the candidates while filling out the application form due to changes in the official website URL and interface. However, NMC has released a revised NEET Syllabus 2024 on the official website at nta.ac.in.

NTA NEET Important Dates 2024

Below are the salient features of the NEET exam date 2024 and the related events. Applicants must check the tentative NEET 2024 important dates shared for different events.

• NEET Form Date 2024: The NEET application form was released on Feb 9, 2024 and the last date was Mar 16, 2024. In addition, NTA offered a correction facility from Mar 18, 2024 till Mar 20, 2024. However, the form was reopened on Apr 9, 2024 and was available till Apr 10, 2024 on the official website.
• NEET 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip: Before the issuance of the NEET admit card, a document called the NEET 2024 advance intimation of examination city slip has been released on Apr 24, 2024. It contains details on the location of the exam centre in that city. The candidate will be able better to organise their timing and commute on exam day.
• NEET Admit Card Release Date 2024: Candidates who have registered will be able to download the NTA NEET admit card 2024 after entering their registration credentials to access their accounts. The NEET UG dates for admit card will be announced soon.
• NEET 2024 Exam Date: NEET exam date 2024 has been scheduled for May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5:20 PM, Indian Standard Time (IST). The exam will be administered offline, using paper and pencil.

Ans. As per the previous year's trends, the NEET exam date 2024 will not be postponed. Earlier, due to pandemic situations, the exams were postponed, but to normalize the overall schedule, the authority has started conducting the exam on the scheduled date and time.

• NEET Answer Key Date 2024: The provisional answer keys for NEET 2024 will be released in Jun 2024. The objection window for NTA NEET 2024 will be concluded in Jun 2024. NTA will also release the final answer key.
• NEET Result Date 2024: NTA will make the NEET result and scorecard announcement on Jun 14, 2024. Along with the NEET 2024 result, the NEET 2024 cutoff will also be made available in the scorecard.
• NEET Counselling 2024 Date: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will handle the NEET counselling procedure for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, and the state counselling authorities will handle it for the 85% State Quota seats.

Ans. Based on previous year’s trends and expected data around 20 lakh students can participate for the NEET 2024 examination.

NEET 2024 Exam Time Schedule

NEET exam date 2024 is scheduled for May 5, 2024. NEET exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. Aspirants must enter the exam hall until 1:30 p.m. However, at 1:45 PM, the NEET test booklet will be distributed.

At 5:20 PM, the NEET 2024 will come to an end. The NEET UG will be administered in pen and paper style for 3 hours and 20 minutes.

NEET 2024 Counselling Date

NEET counselling 2024 will take place soon after the results are released. The 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the 85% State Quota seats for NEET 2024 are separately reserved for counselling.

For the MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programs, the State Medical Admission Authorities conduct the latter, while the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the former.
