If you observe the table above you may notice that one can get a particular score by a different combination of the raw scores of the Quantitative and Verbal section.

For example, you may score a total of 500 by securing a raw score of 27 in Verbal and 31 in Quantitative Aptitude and also 32 in Verbal and 27 in Quantitative Aptitude.

Similarly, many combinations of raw scores are possible for each total score. The Raw Scores of the Analytical Writing Assessment And Integrated Reasoning scores are not used for calculating the total score.

How is GMAT 2024 Score Calculated?

GMAT total score is calculated in a range between 200-800. For this, the Raw Scores of the Quantitative and Verbal sections are converted to a total scaled score with intervals of 10.

Then depending on the Raw score of these two sections, a scaled total score is awarded to the candidates.

GMAT does not disclose the scaling process & algorithm used and it is not possible to accurately know how your raw scores were converted to the scaled total score. Therefore candidates can refer to the Grid given above.
