The GATE 2026 application form was released on Aug 28, 2025 on the official website. Candidates can submit the application form without late fees till Sep 28, 2025. GATE 2026 application form window will be reopened for defect rectification for provisional candidates. GATE Application Form 2026: Paper Combination
GATE form correction window will tentatively be activated by Nov 2025. The last date to edit their application form has been announced yet, but it is expected to last till Nov 2025.
Candidates who will register for the exam can add or edit their paper combinations at the regular application fee till the scheduled last date. However, candidates who will registered for two papers need not pay any extra cost.
The new combinations of two papers, as detailed in Table 2, will be available for candidates who have finished their registration. These additional options complement the ones available during the standard and extended application periods, as outlined in Table 1.
