The cut-off for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 has been reduced for computer science and information technology, as well as electronics and communication engineering subjects in all categories. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has announced the GATE 2024 cutoffs for all categories on its official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

GATE 2024 cut off is the minimal score required for admission to M.Tech, MSc, and PhD programs given by participating institutes. GATE Cut Off Parameters
The conducting body has released GATE 2024 qualifying cut off marks for all categories, on the official website along with the exam results on Mar 16, 2024. The qualifying marks has been released for all 30 papers, category-wise, as PDF files.
The minimum score a candidate must receive to pass the exam is known as the qualifying GATE cutoff 2024. For each of the 30 papers, it is published as GATE marks out of 100. The minimum scores required by applicants for admission to IITs, NITs, or GFTIs are known as GATE Admission Cut Off 2024.

GATE 2024 cutoff is the score that applicants must achieve to be considered for admission to the M.Tech, M.Sc, and PhD programmes available at the participating institutes. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the cut off marks for different papers below.
The distinction between GATE qualifying cut off 2024 and the GATE admission cut off 2024 must be understood by students participating in GATE 2024.
- GATE Qualifying Cut off: GATE qualifying cut off 2024, also known as GATE Cutoff 2024, is the minimum score needed by applicants to be eligible to sit for the exam. For each of the 30 subjects for which the exam will be administered, a different cut off will apply for GATE 2024. GATE Cutoff 2024 will change depending on the various candidate groups. The conducting institute also announces the GATE qualifying cut off along with GATE results 2024.
- GATE Admission Cut off: The minimum score needed by applicants to be admitted to participating institutions is known as GATE Admission Cut off 2024. The institute releases GATE entrance cut off 2024 at the time admission is wanted.
The category-wise qualifying cut off will be released on the official website. Candidates who qualify for GATE 2024 by obtaining the cut off marks will be called for the counselling process.
