GATE Reservation 2024 provides seats for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories. The GATE Reservation Policies for different categories will adhere to the norms and regulations of the admitting institute and the Government of India. As per the GATE Reservation 2024 Policy, 15% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), 27% for Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), 10% for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and 5% for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).

GATE Reservation Policy aims to promote diversity and inclusivity in higher education. The GATE 2024 follows the Reservation Policy stated by the Government of India, where a specific number of percentages of seats are reserved for categories such as SC, ST, OBC-NCL and EWS.

GATE Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility criteria for GATE admissions must be fulfilled by the candidates to take part in the exams. These criteria can be tabulated as follows:

The GATE Cut Off is the minimum marks that each candidate must secure to qualify the GATE exams. The GATE Cut Off 2024 will be released by the conducting authorities after the exams.  However, The cutoff marks for the GATE exam vary depending on the categories.
