The GATE qualifying marks 2023 are different for all categories. It also varies across the 29 GATE subject papers. The candidates must score the set qualifying cutoff marks and above to qualify for the GATE examination and be eligible for admission and recruitment. Difference Between GATE 2023 Qualifying Cutoff and Admission Cutoff
The GATE cutoff 2023 will be of two types: Qualifying Cutoff and Admission Cutoff. For a better understanding of the candidates, we have given the differences between the two types in the table below.

Students can check the GATE cutoff marks 2023 through the official website. Following is the step-wise process for the same:
- Step 1: Go to the official website: gate.iitk.ac.in
- Step 2: On the homepage, look for the GATE 2023 Cutoff PDF link and click on it.
- Step 3: A new tab will open that will include paper-wise cutoff PDFs along with the percentage of qualifying students.
- Step 4: Students can download the cutoff PDF and take it printout for reference in the future.
