How to prepare for IBSAT?
We all know that the management exams will have these sections - Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and English Language. So, where's the catch?
The main thing where we don't focus on is the conditioning of the mind and body. Preparation for any long duration exam is done gradually day by day. You have to give a minimum sitting of 3 hours continuously to be able to withstand tiring 2 hours of exam. So where can we possibly strengthen ourselves?
Practice makes a man perfect.
You have to practice as hard as you can. Since the IBSAT exam is only 2 hours, you have to speed yourselves up to attempt all the questions. There are few shortcuts of attempting the questions which can only be mastered if you do the practice regularly. After all, a single shortcut will require the hard work of repeating it hundreds of times to make it work on the exam day.
Avoid the doubtful questions.
Another good way to increase your percentile is to avoid the questions regarding which you're doubtful about. Since there is negative marking in IBSAT, wrong answers will surely spoil your good performance. Always focus on the questions that you're 100% sure about.
Keep the shortcuts handy.
Agree or not, there are a lot of shortcuts to solve some questions in seconds. Some of the shortcuts can be figured out by practice only. Rest of them can be found in good reference books. One of the good books that I can recommend for quantitative aptitude is Fastrack Arithmetic by Arihant Publications. Go practice and succeed.
The IBSAT 2019 exam pattern is almost the same as any other management entrance exam. The questions in IBSAT 2019 will be of an objective category in MCQ format. The total time duration of the IBSAT 2019 exam is 120 minutes and the candidates will have to complete 120 questions having five answer options by then. There will be 4 sections namely in IBSAT 2019:
- Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation
