Eligibility Criteria for NITIE Mumbai Admissions

The following is the eligibility requirement for the various programs at NITIE:

• Applicants need to be a graduate in Engineering (any branch) minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
• Admissions to PGDIE and PGDMM and PGDPM will be offered via the GATE scores.

Eligibility Criteria for International Students

• Candidates should possess a valid GATE score, and a score of TOEFL/IELTS, along with a Statement of Purpose(SOP) and two letters of recommendation (LORs)
• 15% of seats are reserved for international candidates.

Application Process for NITIE Mumbai

The steps given below are to be followed by the candidates to apply for NITIE Mumbai.

• Visit the official website of NITIE Mumbai.
• Click on the tab for the admission portal.
• Fill in the required details such as email id, date of birth, and so on.
• Pay the application fees and then submit the details. Save the email id and the password details for future use. 
• The fee for the application is INR 1000 per program for candidates from the General and OBC categories. It is INR 500 per program for candidates from SC, ST, and PWD categories.
• Application fees for International candidates are as follows:
• Foreign Students: $50 per program
• Person of Indian Origin:$50 per program
• Candidates who are children of NIR: INR1000
• Candidates who belong to SAARC countries/ Children of Indians in the Gulf: INR 1000.

NITIE PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM

NITIE offers the following full-time residential post-graduate programs. The duration of the program is 2 years.

• Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering (PGDIE)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management (PGDMM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (PGDPM)

There are 140 seats for the PGDIE program. There are 44 seats available for PGDMM and PGDPM programs.

NITIE PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM Eligibility Criteria

The following is eligibility criteria for the above-mentioned courses are as follows.

• A BE/B.Tech in any branch from a recognised university. Candidates should have secured 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD) aggregate marks in their graduation.
• Candidates in the final year of engineering are eligible to apply.
• Company-sponsored candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years of work experience to apply.

NITIE PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM Selection Process 2023

The following selection process will be conducted by NITIE for the PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM courses:

• NITIE will shortlist the candidates for the courses based on their GATE 2023 scores.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear at NITIE Mumbai Campus for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. 
• Dates for the same will be communicated to the candidates by the institute.

For Sponsored Candidates

Sponsored candidates must note the following points to be considered for the selection process of NITIE.

• Sponsored candidates are not required to submit GATE scores. 
• NITIE will conduct a University-based Written test followed by a personal Interview.

For International Candidates

The below-mentioned criteria must be met by international candidates for admission into NITIE Mumbai courses.

• International candidates must have 60% marks in graduation. 
• They also need to submit their GRE and either TOEFL or IELTS scores.
• Candidates also need to submit a Letter of Recommendation and a Statement of Purpose, based on which they will be shortlisted for the next round.
• Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Personal Interview. The Personal Interview can be conducted either in person at the NITIE Campus or via an online video call.

NITIE PGPEX-VLFM

NITIE Mumbai offers a Post Graduate Program for Executives - Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing. This is a one-year program, and NITIE Mumbai has 25 seats for this program. The duration of the program is one year.

Eligibility Criteria for NITIE PGPEX-VLFM

The following are the eligibility criteria for the NITIE PGPEX-VLFM program:

• A BE/B.Tech in any branch with first-class marks.
• 5-12 years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing on the date of application is essential.

Selection Process 2023 for NITIE PGPEX-VLFM

A written test followed by a Personal Interview will be conducted by the institute for the selection of candidates for this program. Both will be arranged by the official authorities.
