YCMOU MBA Eligibility Criteria 2023 will be announced on the official website. For a candidate to apply for any exam he/she should fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting body. The exams have different eligibility criteria that have to be followed by each and every candidate. Without being eligible, the potential candidate cannot even apply for the exam. But there is certain relaxation for candidates belonging to different categories. Candidates applying for YCMOU MBA must have Indian citizenship and must satisfy all the eligibility criteria mentioned by the examination committee. The eligible candidates for the YCMOU MBA 2023 exam can prepare for the exam by referring to the YCMOU MBA 2023 Syllabus. Candidates appearing for YCMOU MBA 2023 must possess basic proficiency in the English language.
YCMOU MBA Eligibility Criteria 2023: Academic Qualifications
- The candidates should possess the certificate of completion of Class XII or its equivalent.
- The candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in any stream or field from a UGC- recognized university.
- The candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination if they belong to the General category, and 40% aggregate marks if they belong to SC/ ST/ OBC.
- The latter (40% aggregate) applies to the physically disabled (PwD) candidates as well.
YCMOU MBA Eligibility Criteria 2023: Reserved Quotas
Quotas for SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) are provided following the government regulations.
The percentage obtained in the Bachelor's degree is computed based on conversion schemes followed by the respective university/ institution.
In the case of grades/ CGPA, the conversion would depend on the equivalent certificate awarded by the respective university/ institution, and that score can be used to meet the eligibility criteria for YCMOU.
