TISSNET 2024 Admissions For Foreign Candidates
For the foreign candidates, the guidelines to be followed for the TISSNET 2024 application are different. Candidates must read the below instructions carefully before applying for the TISSNET examination.
Candidates cannot change the selected program once the result is declared. If the candidate is qualified for two or more programs, the candidate must inform the choice of the course the IRO within 2-3 days for final registration.
The candidates will not be allowed to ask for the transfer from one campus of the TISS to another after the commencement of the program. If needed, the candidates can raise their request to the authorities within the week of receiving the provisional selection information. The candidates will get admission based on the priority of the course/program set by them in the application form.
If there is any change required in the application form, it needs to be done before the commencement of the exam. Candidates must not provide any false or misleading information that may lead to the cancellation of the application form.
The International candidates’ admission will be confirmed only after verifying the original documents or certificates. The international candidates must register themselves with the police in the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) of the local police station within two weeks of their arrival in India.
The candidates will get help from IRO in providing the required documents to FRRO registration/Sim-Card/ID Card/House-lease etc.
Candidates who are awaiting the final results of their qualifying exam are also allowed to apply. The candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criteria to get admission. Candidates cannot pursue a full-time course if they are already enrolled in a full-time course of study in TISS.
