How to Download TISSNET Result 2023?

The candidates must download the TISSNET 2023 results as it will be required during the counselling process. Step by step procedure on how to download the scorecard is given below.

• Step 3: To check the TISSNET result, candidates should provide the correct TISSNET 2023 result login details.
• Step 4: After providing valid login credentials such as ID password or application number, the candidate can view the TISSNET 2023 result.
• Step 5: Take the printout of the TISSNET scorecard, which will be required at the time of counselling.

What After TISSNET results 2023?

Once the TISSNET 2023 results are declared, TISS will call the qualified candidates. The next step in TISSNET admission is TISS-MAT and Online Personal Interview (OPI). The candidates must perform well in all the rounds as the selection is based on the candidates’ overall performance. After the TISSNET exam result is declared, the following rounds will be conducted.

TISSNET Pre Interview Round 2023

The qualified students will be required to report for the second round (Campus Round) of the TISSNET selection process. The pre- Interview Round will be the intermediary round between the test and the final round. The candidates who clear the Pre Interview Test will be eligible for the final round. Moreover, the pre-interview can be made a non-knockout round. No selection process is done, and aggregate is taken into account to select candidates for various TISS courses. 

TISS Online Extempore 2023

The candidates who have qualified for the second round will be given a topic to speak about for 2 to 3 minutes. The test is designed to check the candidates’ understanding of particular topics and presentation skills. The candidates will be given only one chance to change the topic if they do not know the given topic.

TISSNET Online Personal Interview 2023

The candidates must fill in the application form for the TISSNET OPI, which is available on the TISSNET official website. The candidates will be assessed based on their knowledge of the course they have applied for. Candidates must have some basic understanding of the subject as the questions will be asked from the topics related to the course. The SC/ ST candidates can apply for India’s Post Matric Scholarship for financial aid.

TISSNET 2023 Final Result

The final result or merit list will be prepared considering all the factors such as category, TISSNET score, performace at interview and pre-interview rounds. The TISSNET counselling will be done based on TISSNET merit list.

How is TISSNET Merit List Prepared?

The TISS merit list is prepared based on the marks distributed on all stages in the final result table given above. The shortlisting process for the reserved category candidates is the same. The merit list of the candidates for the TISSNET will be created based on preference filled by the candidates at the time of registration of the TISSNET application and the merit.

Tie Breaker for TISSNET Results 

In case of a tie between two or more candidates, the TISS will follow the below process to select the candidates and resolve the tie. Candidates must read the below steps to understand the tie-breaking criteria of TISSNET.

• The Online Personal Interview marks of the candidates will be compared as the first step.
• If the tie persists, pre-interview test marks will be compared with the candidates.
• As the next step, the entrance test marks will be considered to break the tie.
• If the tie is still there, then the candidate elder in age will be given priority.

TISSNET Wait List Preparation Rules

The TISS has set some rules for the waiting list preparation of the TISSNET. Candidates can read these rules to help them avoid any confusion related to the process.

• The candidates who have already got admission as per their preferences will not appear on the waiting list of other programs.
• The candidates who obtain admission as per their second or third preference will continue to be there in the previous waiting list until the seat in the last list is not filled.
• Suppose the candidate is eligible to secure admission in two programs simultaneously. In that case, the candidate will be given admission to the higher preference by the institute.

TISSNET Reservation 2023

The institute reserves some seats for the reserved categories as per the Government of India reservation norms. In the campus of Guwahati, 66% of the seats are reserved for the North-Eastern candidates, and the rest are for the candidates applying from across the country. For the candidates with disabilities, children of army officers, and Kashmir migrants, supernumerary seats are reserved.
