Before filling the online JCECE 2019 Application Form, candidates should go through the Eligibility criteria as given below.
Nationality: The Applicant must be a citizen of India and in the State of Jharkhand.
Domicile: The applicant must be a Local/Permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
Note: A valid Local/Permanent resident certificate in a proper format issued by a competent authority needs to be furnished at the JCECE Counselling 2019.

B.V.Sc. & Animal Husbandry: The candidate must have finished 17 years on or before 31st December of the year applying for the admission. There is no upper age limit to apply for admission.
Other Courses: The aspirants must have completed 17 Years of age by 1st July of the year seeking admission with the upper age limit to apply to be 22 years of age for agriculture and forestry courses. Reserved category aspirants are eligible to get a relaxation of 3 years more.

- The applicants should be a permanent or local resident of Jharkhand as per criteria of Raj Bhasin, Government of Jharkhand.
For MBBS, the applicants must have fulfilled the educational criteria according to the guidelines of MCI, Delhi for the program.
Also, the applicants should have passed with 50% of the marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually for applying to MBSS courses.
For Agriculture and Forestry, the applicants must have cleared SC/10+2 or any similar examination with Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects and one of the subjects among Mathematics/Biology.
For Animal Husbandry, the applicants must have followed the guidelines mentioned by V.C.I for this stream according to which the applicants must have passed the SC/10+2 or any other similar examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
