Eligibility for COMEDK UGET 2019 for Engineering Courses

  • Qualification: Candidate must have passed the SSC or any other equivalent examination from either board viz. State Board, CBSE, ICSE.

  • PUC/HSC: A Candidate must be HSC qualified in order to apply for the COMEDK 2019 examination from any recognized board viz. State Board, CBSE, ICSE.

  • Minimum Marks: Aspirants must have secured at least 45% of the total in the aggregate of PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). The minimum marks for the category classes, Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates belonging to the state of Karnataka is 40%.

  • Category Relaxation: Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in English as a subject in 12th class to be eligible for the COMEDK UGET 2019 examination. However for Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates belonging to the state of Karnataka, the minimum mark should be 40%.

  • Subjects: Candidate should have passed in all the subjects to be eligible.

  • Important Subjects: Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any other technical vocational course is an optional subject while Physics, Mathematics, and English are compulsory to be eligible for the COMEDK UGET 2019 examination.

  • Diploma Candidates: Diploma candidates are not eligible to appear for the COMEDK 2019 exam as it does not have any lateral entry scheme.

COMEDK UGET 2019 Eligibility for Architecture Courses

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidates must have passed the 12th or PUC or any equivalent examination from any recognized board (without open university/board) of the country or having 10+3 diploma with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in the aggregate to be eligible for the COMEDK UGET 2019 examination.

  • NATA Candidates: The candidates must have appeared and scored a minimum of 80 marks out of 200 marks in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).

  • About: NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the COA (Council of Architecture) for both general and category students, to be eligible for the COMEDK UGET 2019 examination.

  • Separate Application: The candidates seeking the B.Arch course shall submit the separate application, only if candidates have a valid NATA score.

  • NOTE: The candidates must go through the eligibility process thoroughly before he/she proceeds on the registration process. 

  • The Eligibility criteria for this examination varies on the particular course the candidate chooses to opt.

  • The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to MS/MD/MDS is MBBS or BDS from the MCI/DCI recognized institution. One must have completed or going to complete his/her internship till 30th April of the year of admission. The qualifying marks set by the association for COMEDK PGET 2017 is 50% for general candidates and 40% for category candidates. Any state Indian citizen is eligible for COMEDK PGET 2017. The candidates must have permanent registration with the MCI/DCI or any state medical/dental council.

  • If you are complete your internship by 30th April 2017, you are eligible to write PGET/PGMD 2017 exam. However, you will be required to provide your permanent registration number at the time of admission process and counseling.
