The MHT CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, for admission to various undergraduate degree programs, primarily in engineering and pharmacy. The MHT CET exam is held in an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 

To be eligible, candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). After the MHT CET results are announced, candidates participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), which is conducted in three rounds: CAP Round I, CAP Round II, and CAP Round III.

Students register, upload documents, and fill out their college/course preferences. Based on merit rank, category, and seat availability, a seat is allotted. If satisfied, accept the seat, and if not satisfied, choose “Not Freeze” to participate in Round 2.

CAP Round II Cut Off 2023- Engineering (B.E/B.Tech)

Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 or chose “Not Freeze” can participate. Repeat choice filling. Seats are allotted again based on merit and preferences. Accept if satisfied. Candidates can still choose to wait for Round 3.

CAP Round III Cut Off 2023- Engineering (B.E/B.Tech)

This is the last round. All vacant seats from earlier rounds are displayed. Fresh choice filling may be required. Once allotted, seat acceptance and admission formalities must be completed.

*POST CAP ROUND: If any seats remain vacant after CAP rounds, colleges may fill them at the institute level.
