MIT World Peace University Admission

The MIT World Peace University admission process is carried out in online mode. The applicants can apply on the university's website. The candidates are expected to meet the eligibility criteria and cutoff criteria for their respective courses. The selection process involves a personal interview and a GD.

Admission to UG courses is primarily based on merit secured in the qualifying examination or an entrance examination carried out by the college called MIT-WPU UGPET.

  • MHT CET, JEE Main, BITSAT, VITEEE, MU OET, and PERA CET are the accepted exams for B.Tech admission.
  • For law courses which include LLB, BBA LLB (Hons), and B.Com LLB (Hons), the college considers scores of MHT CET/CLAT/LSAT exams. 

Admission to PG courses is primarily based on the MIT-WPU PGPET examination. 

  • Selection to M.Tech. is primarily based on the GATE score
  • Candidates can get entry to MBA primarily based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/MAH-MBA-CET 

MIT World Peace University Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for MIT-WPU Pune courses depend on the type of course chosen. Mentioned below are a few courses along with their eligibility criteria

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCM or PCB* or in Physics and Mathematics along with any Technical Vocational Subject. Physics, Mathematics/Biology*, and English are mandatory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology* or Technical Vocational Courses in 10+2/Class 12 or an equivalent examination.
(*Applicable only for the Bioengineering program)
Note: A relaxation to 45% marks is applicable for reserved category candidates from Maharashtra state.

OR

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in a Diploma in Engineering & Technology in a relevant branch from a Government-recognized technical board.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in a full-time 3 or 4-year Bachelor's degree in any stream from a UGC-approved university or equivalent.

    • For reserved category candidates from Maharashtra State, a minimum of 55% marks is acceptable.

  • A minimum of 60% aggregate in both Class 10 and Class 12, with English as a compulsory subject.

AND

  • A valid non-zero score in any of the following national-level entrance exams:
    CAT 2024, XAT 2025, NMAT 2024, GMAT, PERA 2025, CMAT 2025, MAH-CET 2025, or Sep MAT 2024 onwards.
