College of Engineering Pune was set up in 1854. It was an autonomous government institute earlier, it was affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, and now it is converted into COEP Technological University. The Institute is defined by its dedication to seeking solutions to today's major problems through technological advancements. Admissions 2024 are on upto August, 2024. The college accepts the scores of MHTCET & JEE Main scores for UG admissions. For admission in PG courses, the college accepts various entrance exam scores like GATE, CEED and MH CET. The college accepts CAT/MAT exams for management courses. 

College of Engineering Pune is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It offers B.Tech, M.Tech, PG Diploma, and PhD research programs. The campus is spread over 47 acres of land and has state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities. The college has been ranked 72nd in the NIRF Rankings of 2022 in the engineering category.

College of Engineering Pune accepts the scores of JEE-Main and MHTCET scores for UG admissions 2024. For 2024 admission in PG courses, the college accepts various entrance exams scores like GATE, CEED and MH CET. College of Engineering Pune Eligibility Criteria

College of Engineering Pune has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfill all the requirements for getting admission. Institute has very strict criteria for admission, the basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and also Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocation and with a minimum of 50% aggregate score.
• Candidates must have a valid MHTCET or JEE- Main score card.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed B.Tech/ BE with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE Score.

Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed M.Tech with a minimum of 55% aggregate score.
• Candidates must have appeared for GATE/ SPPU Ph.D Entrance Test (PET).
