JEMAT eligibility criteria 2023 are decided by Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. All the aspirants must thoroughly check the eligibility standards before applying for JEMAT 2022. The applicants will be able to check the minimum qualifying marks and criteria laid by the organizing body. Once sure about meeting the eligibility conditions, aspiring candidates can start preparing for the exam by going through JEMAT syllabus 2023.

JEMAT 2022 Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's degree or courses in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/ Agriculture from a recognized university. The candidates appearing in the final year examination of the programs mentioned above or equivalent are also eligible to apply for JEMAT 2022.

It is to be noted that degrees acquired through any distance education program are not eligible. Candidates in the final year will be granted provisional admission and will have to submit their final mark sheets before a prescribed deadline.

JEMAT Maximum Age There is no maximum age limit for the candidate to appear for JEMAT. However, the candidate must have an undergraduate degree or any equivalent certificate.
Domicile The candidate must be an Indian citizen. If the candidate is from outside India, they should submit the nationality certificate.

Note: The institutions participating and affiliated by MAKAUT will have different eligibility criteria and merely passing JEMAT 2022 will not make the participant eligible for admission in the colleges they choose. They will need to fulfill the conditions laid down by the individual colleges too to secure admission.

JEMAT 2022 Reservation Policy

JEMAT 2022 reservations are based on government regulations. The participants are required to appear for the exam and reserved candidates should get at least the minimum qualifying marks. These reservations are considered during the admission process by the respective institutions.

JEMAT 2022 Qualifying Marks

The candidate has to secure at least the minimum qualifying marks at the first step to be considered for admission in the institution of their choice. The minimum qualifying marks are based on several factors like the number of applicants and the number of students who appeared for the test. MAKAUT decide JEMAT 2022 cut off and these will be based on.

  • The number of applicants for JEMAT 2022.
  • The cut off of previous years.
  • The highest score secured.
  • The number of participants appeared for JEMAT 2022.
  • An estimate of the seats available in the affiliated or associated institutes.
  • The average score of JEMAT 2022.

The candidates have to submit the scanned copy of all the academic details and the claims they make must be correct, if not, then the organizing body reserves all the rights to cancel the application of the applicant. The documents and the records required are given below.
