About JEMAT Exam
Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT), also known as WBJEMAT, is a state-level entrance examination conducted for admission into MBA, MHA and PG Diploma in Management.
Conducting Body: JEMAT is run by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUTWB), formerly known as the West Bengal University of Technology, on behalf of the State Government as per the guidelines framed by AICTE and policy framework laid down by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Level: JEMAT is a state-level competitive entrance exam recognized and accepted by all the government and private management institutions in the state of West Bengal for offering admissions into courses like MBA, MHA, and PG Diploma in Management.

JEMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate's application can be cancelled at any time during admission if the candidate is found to be ineligible for the examination. Applicants must go through JEMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form. Below are some of the eligibility standards that an individual must satisfy to appear for JEMAT exam 2025.
JEMAT Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/ Agriculture with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
- The candidates appearing in the final year examination of the programs mentioned above or equivalent are also eligible to apply for JEMAT. However, degrees acquired through any distance education program are not eligible.
- Candidates in the final year will be granted provisional admission and will have to submit their final mark sheet before a prescribed deadline.
JEMAT Age Limit: There is no specific age limit to apply for JEMAT.
JEMAT Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen. If the candidate is from outside India, then they should submit the nationality certificate. If the candidate is from Bhutan or Nepal, they must submit an NOC from their High Commission.
JEMAT Number of Attempts: The candidates can appear for the test infinite times.

JEMAT 2025 Preparation Tips
JEMAT exam takes place two times a year. The students must start their preparation as soon as possible. They must dedicate at least six months to practice and learn the important concepts to prepare well for JEMAT exam. Applicants are advised to also go through the JEMAT Previous Year Question Papers.
- The participant must study a few hours daily. MBA is all about management, so they need to prepare themselves by making a little effort every day.
- Reading newspapers daily can improve grammar, vocabulary, and reading speed.

WB JEMAT Results 2025
JEMAT Results will be released online on the official website in July 2025. The candidates who have appeared for the exam can download their JEMAT 2025 results using their login credentials. In case a tie occurs between two candidates, the following factors are considered to break the tie.
- Profile: The candidate's educational background is analyzed and the best one is given the position.
- Work Experience: This will be used as the second parameter. Students who have higher work experience in a managerial position will be given higher marks, and the seat will be allotted.
- Age: This is the last step; the student older in age will be given preference.
Cut Off: JEMAT 2025 cut off is the minimum marks that must be secured by the candidate so that they can appear for the further rounds of GD/ PI.
Shortlisted Candidates: The shortlisted candidates will be called for GD/ PI round, followed by counselling.
JEMAT 2025 Counselling

Counselling Process: JEMAT 2025 counselling consists of the following phases: General Discussion/ Personal Interview. The candidates are bound to accept the day they are allotted for the counselling. No plea for the change of counselling dates will be heard.
