JEMAT 2020 Results

The result will be declared on the official website for all the candidates on June 18, 2020. The candidates who have appeared for the JEMAT can download their scorecards by using their login credentials.

The candidate should preserve JEMAT Admit card for future references to check the results, etc.

Tie Break:

  • Profile: The educational background of the candidate is analyzed and the best one is given the position.
  • Work experience: this will be used as the second parameter, students who have higher work experience in a managerial position will be given higher marks and the seat will be allotted.
  • Age: this is the last step; the student older in age will be given the seat.
  • Cut-off: JEMAT cut-off is the minimum cut off marks that must be secured by the candidate so that he/ she could appear for the further rounds of GD/ PI. 
  • Shortlisted: The shortlisted candidates will be called for GD/ PI, followed by counseling.

How to check the results of JEMAT 2020

  • Step 1: Log in to the JEMAT 2020 official website i.e. jemat.eadmissions.net
  • Step 2: Search for the document containing the list of shortlisted candidates.
  • Step 3: The candidate should enter the roll number.
  • Step 4: Based on the entered roll number, the result of the corresponding candidate will be displayed.
  • Step 5: The candidates can have a print copy of the list for future use.

JEMAT 2020 Merit List

In the form of a merit list, the JEMAT Results 2020 will be released. So, test-takers will have access to the entire PDF document issued or released by the examination authorities. JEMAT Merit List will be designed on the basis of the performance in the JEMAT. JEMAT 2020 merit list will contain the following details:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Rank obtained
  • Date of birth
  • Father’s name
  • Marks secured by the candidate

Tie Break in JEMAT 2020

In case two or more candidates have scored the same marks, a tiebreaking practice will be followed. The students will be analyzed on the following criteria:

  • Profile: Here the educational background is analyzed among the two or more students and one best is given the position.
  • Work experience: this will be used as the second parameter, students who have higher work experience in a managerial position will be given higher marks and the seat will be allotted.
  • Age: This is the last step where the student older in age will be given the seat.

JEMAT 2020 Cut-off

JEMAT cut-off is the minimum cut off marks that must be secured by the candidate so that he/she could appear for the further rounds of GD/PI. The cut-off is dependent on the following factors:

  • The number of registered applicants.
  • The total number of test-takers.
  • The Difficulty level of the exam
  • Marking scheme
  • Total number of seats
  • Reservation policy of the Institute

The cut-off is different for each of the colleges and so a separate list is generated by each college after the counseling is done. Students have to qualify and clear the minimum cut off defined by each of the colleges and their eligibility requirements.
