IET Lucknow was set up in 1984 and it is one of the premier and top-ranked institutes among all technical institutions associated/affiliated to Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). It was established by the government of Uttar Pradesh as a society-governed Institute. The Institute is financed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and is administered by the Executive Council of AKTU. It runs as an autonomous body under the umbrella of AKTU and is approved by AICTE. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 will be conducted on January 24, 2024, and February 1, 2024. The session 2 exams will be conducted on April 1, 2024, and April 15, 2024.

IET Lucknow Eligibility Criteria

IET Lucknow has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfil all the requirements for getting admission. Institute has very strict criteria for admission, the basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have completed class 12th with at least 60% aggregate marks with PCM as subjects.
• The candidate should have appeared for the UPSEE or CUET UG entrance exam.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must have a B.Tech or B.E degree from any recognised university.
• The candidate must appear and have a valid score card in GATE or CUET PG. 

PhD Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidates must have a master's degree in a relevant subject from a recognised university. 
• The candidate must have a valid score in UGC NET or entrance exam conducted by the university for PhD.
