NIT Sikkim is a technical institute that comes under the ten newly approved NITs by the Government of India in 2009 and it is declared an Institute of National Importance. National Institute of Technology Sikkim  B.Tech and BArch admission will be decided based on JEE Main 2024 examination. JEE Main 2024 Result for Session 1 has been released on February 13, 2024.

National Institute of Technology Sikkim offers all the Undergraduate programs, M. Tech (CSE, ECE) and Ph.D. The academic activities of the institute are being conducted at its Ravangla campus which is located at Ravangla also known as Rabong Sikkim while its permanent campus is to be shifted to Khamdong.
