Applications: Enlistments for JoSAA 2019 registration will be open tentatively from the second week of June 2019.
Enrolment Deadline: All eligible candidates, who have qualified JEE Main or JEE Advanced examination will have to register themselves according to the JoSAA 2019 schedule which is tentatively by the final week of June 2019.
Choice of College: Alongside enrollment, the candidates will likewise need to submit their choices for colleges and course/programmes. The schools and courses must be chosen by the candidates according to their inclination as it will be considered amid the seat assignment session.
Documents Verification: After the seat distribution result is declared, the candidates should report to their nearest reporting centre for document verification. Only after verification and payment of seat acceptance fees, the applicants will have the capacity to visit their assigned college for confirmation of admission.
Participating Institutions: Candidates who are qualified for JEE Main 2019 and JEE Advanced 2019 will be eligible for admissions into 97 JoSAA 2019 participating institutes. More than 34,000 undergraduate engineering seats from the participating IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs will be open for all JEE Main and JEE Advanced exam qualified candidates.

Preference of Course and College: As per their eligibility criteria, the candidates will be allowed to choose their college and course from 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 20 GFTIs.

JoSAA 2019 does not have any set qualification criteria, in any case, for admissions into the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), the applicants should meet the qualification criteria of JEE Advanced 2019.

Once the seat allotment results are declared, the candidates will have to report to the JoSAA reporting centres 2019 mentioned below to confirm their allotted seats.
Candidates who are allotted into NIT, IIEST, IIIT or other GFTIs will have to report only at the reporting centres of the same.
A mock seat allotment will be released before the actual seat allotment. This will help candidates decide their seat preferences in a better manner.
There will be two JoSAA 2019 mock seat allotments.
BIT Mesra has 2 rounds of admission - The first one is through JOSAA where you get a particular branch according to the availability of seats and your preference. Once this step is completed, there is an option for internal sliding where you can change your branch if you wish so but this depends on the remaining vacant seats and your JEE Mains Rank. The second round is the SPOT round which is conducted by the college for the remaining seats. You can apply through the website and it takes place after 20-25 days of the end of the first round.

Eligibility is same as other IITs and admission procedure is by JEE Advanced rank and JOSAA Counselling. JEE is the one and only way to get admission. Cutoffs are dependent on the reservations. For Open category, it is around 8500 rank.

Admission to B.Tech in this institute is based on the merit list of JEE Advanced and is confirmed a seat after counseling. I gave JEE-Advanced and got rank of 4319. Based on my JEE rank. I filled my choices in JOSAA counseling and eventually got Chemical Engineering.
Admissions to the first semester of all Undergraduate courses are made on the basis of seats allocated by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) from the list of candidates selected by all India JEE (Main). Besides, a specified number of foreign nationals/NRIs selected under the policy laid down by Govt. of India, are admitted directly to the 1st year of the courses. The typical cutoffs for my course are approximately 112 marks.
The eligibility criteria for the admissions are JEE mains paper passed. Actually, admissions are done by Josaa which is the online platform for admission to many colleges. There is a different cut off for different categories like for SC the cutoff generally are 50 to 55 numbers in JEE, but for general, there is 100 to 110 and for BC there is 70 to 75.
Admission is based upon your rank in jee mains exam, which is held every year in April. Cutoff released by josaa, students get admission based on cutoff only. I took jee mains exam after 12th, and jee advance later. Basically, the cutoff is around 20k all India rank for Delhi students and much lower for outside Delhi students.
