NIT Meghalaya Admission

NIT Meghalaya admissions 2024 provides a sizable selection of undergraduate and graduate-level courses. These include BTec, MTech, and MSc and PhD courses. Admission to these courses is based on national-level exams, including JEE Main, GATE and IIT JAM.

Registrations are made online through the official website, and students must appear for the entrance exam and counselling to ensure admission at NIT Meghalaya.

NIT Meghalaya Eligibility criteria

For each course, there is a separate eligibility criterion for admission. Apart from that the student who desires admission has to write the required entrance test and pass the National Institute Technology Meghalaya cutoff.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 12th class board exams from any recognised board to qualify for B.Tech admissions at NIT Meghalaya.
• Candidates must have scored at least 75% marks in 12th board exams.
• Candidates must take the JEE Main exam and participate in the JoSAA counseling for final seat allocations.
• Scores secured by candidates in JEE Main determine whether or not they will get admission.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have done graduation in either B.Tech or B.E. in any relevant subject.
• Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA at graduation.
• Admission to these courses depends upon the GATE ranks of the candidates.
