You can get a seat in NIT JAMSHEDPUR on the basis of JEE MAIN rankings or a limited amount of seats are available for DASA ( Direct Admission to Students Abroad ). I took JEE MAIN and when I attended admissions, for Computer science and engineering, the cutoff was up to a rank of 13000.
It is one of the best NIT after NIT from south India. It has very good in placement. To get admission one has to clear JEE MAIN exam conducted by CBSE for graduation in engineering. One with rank up to INR.30000 can get admitted here.
