Important Dates: Candidates can fill the form without late fee from 4th March 2019 till 5th April 2019.
Cancellation of the Application Form: Candidates should fill correct details, failing to do so leads to cancellation of the application form.
Mode of Payment: After the candidate fills all the required details in the UGC NET 2019 Application form, candidates are asked to choose the mode of payment. The candidate can pay the fee through Credit/Debit cards and also through e-challans.
Status of the Application Fees: The candidates are advised to check the status of the application fee after the UGC NET 2019 Application Fee is submitted.
OK Status: If the status is 'OK', the candidates can take a printout of the application form, Attendance Slip, and the Admission card.
Not OK Status: If the status is 'Not OK' in the UGC NET Application form, the candidates can go through the following steps.
Payment through e-challan:
Candidates who wish to pay through e-challan should take a print out of the e-challan generated and should pay the required fee amount in the bank.
If the status appears as "Not OK", then the candidate should contact the concerned bank immediately to update his/her fee status on the website.
Payment through Credit/Debit Card:
If the candidate wishes to pay through Credit/Debit card, then he/she can pay through the payment portal by entering the required details.
If the UGC NET fee is paid through credit/debit card and status appears as "Not OK’, it means the transaction has been canceled and the amount will be refunded to concerned credit/debit card within a time period of one week. If so, the candidates have to pay the application fee for UGC NET again.

The candidates are advised to ensure the following points before filling the Online Application forms:
Whether they fulfill the eligibility conditions for the Test as prescribed under the heading ‘Conditions of Eligibility ’and‘ Age Limit’.
That they have filled their category viz General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender, in the relevant column correctly.
That they have filled their Subject and City of examination and code in the relevant column correctly.
That the Person with Disability (PwD) candidate has filled the relevant column in the online application form. Only PwD candidates have to fill this column and the others have to leave it blank.
Whether they have kept a Printout of the application form (confirmation page) for their own record.
Missing certificates: The candidate who lost their original UGC NET 2019 certificate can apply for Duplicate Certificates.
Document submission: To get a duplicate Certificate candidate has to submit specific documents.
Authority attestation: An affidavit on a Judicial stamp paper duly attested by the Authority for the loss of original certificate issued by the UGC.
Affidavit: An affidavit should mention the name of the candidate, his/her particulars like father's and mother's names, date of UGC NET 2019, Roll number, subject, address etc.
Declaration: The candidate must state in the affidavit that in case of his/her discovering the original NET certificate/JRF Award letter, he/she would not misuse it and return it to the NET Bureau.
Payment: The candidate has to pay a demand draft of Rs. 100/- drawn in favor of the Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch, (Code No. 7687), New Delhi
FIR: An attested Copy of FIR registered at a Police Station. The Attestation stamp of the Class-I gazetted officer must bear his/her name, designation, and official address.
All NET qualified Candidates who have not received their e-certificate can download the same, the candidates have to provide their respective details.
Ques: Whether the examination will be offline or online?
Ans: The examination will be conducted through the Computer-based Test made only.
Ques: What is the number of attempts for appearing in UGC-NET?
Ans: The NTA will held the UGC-NET twice a year. The first ones being held in December 2018.
Ques: In case the Photograph is not having Name & Date of the Photograph, would the form be rejected?
Ans: The Application form will not be rejected in this case because it is not mandatory to mention Name & Date in Photograph.
Ques: In case, the Candidate has uploaded Blue Signature instead of a Black Signature in the application form of UGC-NET. Is it okay?
Ans: Your Application Form will not be rejected merely for this mistake.
Ques: Is Thumb Impression mandatory while filling UGC NET application?
Ans: There is no need to upload thumb impression in the online application of UGC NET.
Can candidate apply again with different email id when her/his information wrong?
Yes. But you have to submit only one application form at the examination center for UGC NET 2017.
How do I check whether my application form fee has been received?
After the UGC NET fee submission, is it advised that to ensure that the fee has been successfully submitted, the candidate is required to check the status of fee payment at CBSE UGC website (www.cbsenet.nic.in) and if the status appears ‘Ok’ the candidate will be able to collect the printout of online Application Form (one copy), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) on separate A-4 size papers.
