The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET application form 2025 for the December session on October 07, 2025. It has been released on the official website of the NTA at nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for the UGC NET 2025 is November 07, 2025. The application correction window is expected to be activated in the 2nd week of November 2025.

In addition, you must pay the prescribed NET form fees after filling out the application form. The UGC NET exam fee for the general category is INR 1150/-, INR 600/- for OBC, and INR 325/- for SC/ST.

Issuing a Duplicate Certificate for UGC NET

If you have lost the original UGC NET 2025 certificate, you can easily apply for its duplicate. You must submit an affidavit on a judicial stamp paper, duly attested by the relevant authority, for the loss of the original certificate issued by UGC.

The affidavit should mention your name and other details like the names of your parents, date of UGC NET 2025, roll number, subject, address, etc. You must state in the affidavit that if you discover the original NET certificate/JRF Award Letter, you will not misuse it and return it to the UGC NET Bureau.

• Payment: Pay a demand draft of INR 100/- drawn in favour of the Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi, payable at State Bank of India, Service Branch (Code No. 7687), New Delhi.
• FIR: An attested copy of FIR registered at the nearest police station. The attestation stamp of the class-I gazetted officer must bear their name, designation, and official address.
