Candidates can register for KTET Exam 2024 till Apr 26, 2024.
KTET syllabus 2024 depends on the category one is willing to apply for the exam. KTET exam will be conducted in 4 shifts covering subjects from primary to higher secondary subjects. Hence, candidates preparing for the KTET exam are advised to go through the syllabus and the important topics. Candidates must ensure that they plan and prepare adequately.
KTET 2024 Syllabus for Category I: Lower Primary Classes (I-V) Teacher
Emphasis should be given to questions related to classroom contexts, and classroom context should be the primary level while preparing for KTET 2024. The following topics must be relevant to the age group 6-11.
- Child Development and Pedagogy,
- Language I Kannada/Tamil/Malayalam,
- Language II English/Arabic and
- Mathematics,
- Environmental Studies.
KTET 2024 Syllabus for Category II: Upper Primary Classes (VI-VIII) Teacher
The examination will be broadly based on the topics prescribed for classes 6 to 8 in the Kerala State syllabus but some questions may have links to the extension of these concepts to the Higher Secondary stage.
- Child Development & Pedagogy,
- Language I Kannada/Tamil/Malayalam,
- Language II English/Arabic and
- Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher) or Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher) or for any other teacher - either one of them.
KTET 2024 Syllabus for Category III: High School Classes (IX-X) Teacher
The questions will focus on the approaches to teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 13-17.
- Adolescent Psychology, Theories of Learning and Teaching Aptitude
- Language - Kannada/ Tamil/Malayalam/English
- Subject-specific areas -Mathematics or Science &
- Content or Pedagogy
KTET 2024 Syllabus for Category IV: High School Classes (IX-X) Teacher
The questions will focus on the approaches to teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 13-17.
- Adolescent Psychology, Theories of Learning and Teaching Aptitude
- Language - Kannada/ Tamil/Malayalam/English
- Subject-specific areas - Language Specialist or Specialist or Physical &
- Content or Pedagogy.
