CTET Exam 2019 Introduction

  • About CTET: CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test which will be conducted to recruit candidates for teaching profile all across the country by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), India. The Government of India introduced the CTET Exam in order to improve or bring new standards in teaching. The exam is based on the National Curriculum Framework. All graduates are eligible to apply for CTET 2019 exam on the official website www.ctet.nic.in 2019-20.
  • Examination LevelCTET is a National level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

CTET 2019 Eligibility

  • CTET 2019 Educational Qualification: Minimum education qualification for CTET 2019 exam is that candidates must have passed or appeared for the Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and should have passed or appeared in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.

CTET 2019 Syllabus

CTET 2019 syllabus for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is as follows:

  • Paper-1: CTET 2019 syllabus for Paper 1 includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (compulsory), Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language II (compulsory).

  • Paper-2: CTET 2019 syllabus for Paper 2 includes Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory), Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science, Social Studies.

CTET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Structure: The CTET exam 2019 is conducted in offline mode. CTET exam pattern will have two phases, Paper-1 and Paper 2. Questions asked in both the CTET exam papers are objective multiple type of choice question. 

  • Post-exam: Candidates who qualify both the papers of CTET 2019 exam will be called for the Interview process.

CTET 2019 Registration

  • Mode: CTET form 2019 is available on the official website www.ctet.nic.in. CTET Application Fee can be paid through both online and offline modes.

  • Application Fee: CTET exam form 2019 fees for General or OBC candidates writing Paper-1 or Paper-2 will be INR 600/- and the candidates applying for both the exams have to pay INR 1000/-. The Candidates belonging to (SC/ST/PWD/Female) writing Paper-1 or Paper-2 have to pay INR 300/- and the candidates applying for both the exams have to pay INR 500/-.

  • Availability: CTET 2019 Admit card will be available on the official website once it is released by the conducting authority.

  • Download: To download CTET 2019 Admit card candidates have to give their application number, date of birth as a password and security pin.

  • Details: Admit card contains details regarding candidates name, exam centre, location and CTET exam date 2019
