Time Schedule of CTET 2022 Exam

The schedule of CTET 2022 exam will be updated soon once the official dates are out. CTET 2022 Eligibility

The official notification will contain details related to CTET 2022 eligibility for each post. Candidates must make sure that they satisfy the educational requirement and the age limit criteria of the relevant post before applying for the exam. Educational Qualification for CTET 2022 Primary Teacher (Classes I to V) - Paper 1

The candidates who have any of the following educational qualification can appear paper 1 of CTET 2022.

  • Candidate passing Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and who has passed or is appearing for the final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
  • Candidate passing Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 45% marks and who has passed or is appearing for the final year of 2-year diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations 2002. 
  • Candidate passing Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and who is passed or is appearing for the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • Candidate passing Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and who have passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year diploma in Education (D.Ed).

Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2022 Elementary Teacher (Classes VI to VIII) - Paper 2

The candidates can appear for CTET 2022 paper 2 if they have any of the following educational qualification.

  • Candidates passing graduation or appearing in the final year of a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Candidates passing graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed.
  • Candidates passing graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed, per the NCTE Regulations.
  • Candidates passing Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • Candidates passing Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed or BA.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
  • Candidates completing graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

CTET 2022 Age Limit

As per the official notification, the age of the aspiring candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years. The candidature of the candidates who do not satisfy CTET 2022 eligibility criteria will be cancelled.

CTET 2022 Application Form

CTET 2022 exam is set to be conducted in Dec 2022. The detailed exam schedule will be announced soon by CBSE at its official website ctet.nic.in The registration process will begin soon after the notification is out. Candidates who meet the requirements for appearing for the exam can apply for CTET 2022 online. The application will be considered only after the payment of the application fee and upload of all the documents required are done.

How to Apply for CTET 2022?

Follow the step-by-step procedure below for CTET 2022 form fill up and applying.

  • Step 1: Log on to the official website of CTET.
  • Step 2: Find the 'Apply Online' link and open the same.
  • Step 3: Upon landing on the next page, fill up the online application form. After its completion, please note down the registration/ application number for future use.
  • Step 4: After filling the form, upload scanned images of recent photograph and signature. Please keep in mind that the signature should not be smudged.
  • Step 5: Make the payment of CTET 2022 application fee.
  • Step 6: For the future reference, it is advised to take a print out of the application form.

CTET 2022 application form will be available on the official website. The application process is only complete after payment of the application fee. CTET application fee can be paid through both online and offline modes. The applicants can make the payment offline by using e-Challan and those who wish to make the payment online can use debit/ credit cards.

CTET 2022 Admit Card

CTET 2022 admit card will be available on the official website. To download CTET 2022 admit card, candidates must enter their application number, date of birth as a password, and security pin provided at the time of registration for CTET login on the official website. The admit card contains details regarding the candidate's name, exam centre, location, and CTET exam date 2022.

Candidates must carry the admit card to the examination hall on the day of the exam. Candidates who do not have a valid admit card will not be allowed to attend the examination.

Certain documents like valid photo identity proof and its photocopy, two recent passport size photographs and admit card are required at the exam centre. The photograph must match the photo uploaded during the application process. CTET 2022 Exam Pattern

CTET 2022 exam will be conducted in offline mode. CTET 2022 exam pattern will have two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 aims at testing the proficiency of the candidates in languages, knowledge of the psychology related to learning and teaching along with other core subjects. Paper 2 will also have similar sections aimed at testing the skills of the candidates.

Candidates can choose two languages out of the 5 available options. Candidates can choose to appear for either paper 1, paper 2, or both. Candidates who qualify for the written exam of CTET 2022 exam will be called for the Interview process.

CTET 2022 Exam Pattern for Classes I to V (Primary Stage)

CTET 2022 paper for the primary stage will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The first section, Child Development and Pedagogy, will be based on the educational psychology of teaching and learning of children of 6 to 11 years.The Language I section will focus on proficiency in the language of imparting instructions. Language II will be related to language, communication skills, and comprehension abilities. Language I and Language II will be different. The applicant will have to opt for languages from a set of available languages.
