UGC NET Application Form 2024 is out. The last date to apply is May 10, 2024 (up to 11:50 PM).
UGC NET Dec Cut Off 2023 marks for the session were released on Jan 19, 2024, by NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The general category's minimum UGC NET 2023 qualifying cutoff is 40%, while the reserved categories are 35%. NTA has released two separate UG NET 2023 cut off lists for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Additionally, UGC NET result 2023 for Dec sesssion also released on Jan 19, 2024.
Additionally, the NTA released the Dec session e-certificate and JRF letter to candidates who qualified the exam. Students who qualifed the cut off marks for Fellowship (JRF) can download the important documents from the official website.
The exam contains 83 subjects, and the UGC NET cut off 2023 subject wise marks PDF is provided in the article below. For applicants who qualify for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the NTA NET UGC cut off is given separately.

Steps to Calculate Cut Off Marks for UGC NET 2023
Candidates who take the exam can view their UGC NET cut off marks by category and subject on the official website. UGC cut off 2023 is the minimum qualifying mark required for candidates to qualify for the test.
Some of the steps followed by NTA to conclude the cutoff for UGC NET are detailed below as pointers for the applicants.
- Step 1: The total number of qualified candidates in the exam equals 6% of the candidates who appeared in both papers.
- Step 2: The total number of slots allocated to candidates belonging to different categories as per the reservation policy of the Government of India.
- Step 3: UGC NET passing marks 2023 are required by the candidates to be considered for the award of JRF, and eligibility for Assistant Professor is mentioned in the table below.
