JKCET result 2023 will be announced on the official website by the conducting authority. Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) will announce the JKCET 2023 result on the official website i.e., jkbopee.gov.in.

The result of JKCET 2023 will be out in the form of a JKCET rank list. Candidates who submit the class 12th marks before the deadline will be able to check their ranks. The result will be out after the exam's completion.

• JKCET Result 2023 Date: Candidates will be able to check JKCET 2023 result, which will be declared on the official website.
• JKCET 2023 Answer Key: After the conclusion of the entrance test, the answer key shall be displayed on BOPEE’s website on the evening of the date of JKCET Exam if not, latest by 12 noon on the next day. It shall remain on the website for three days.
• Challenge for Answer Key: If an aspirant feels that his or her answer is right then he or she may submit a representation along with proper proof from a standard textbook within three working days after the commencement of JKCET 2023 Exam. They will have to submit it in the BOPEE’s office at Srinagar or Jammu along with the payment receipt of Rs. 1000/- per representation per paper at the POS terminal at J&K BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar.
• Credentials: The results can be viewed with the help of the admit card by providing the username and password on JKCET official website.

Viewing JKCET 2023 Result

All interested candidates are required to download and take a printout of JKCET result 2023 and keep it until the end of the admission process.

• Official Website: All aspirants are required to visit the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) to gain access to JKCET result 2023. They have to click on the link which is given to download the results.
• Credentials: Every test-taker has to fill up the information like Roll Number (which is provided in JKCET 2023 Application form and JKCET 2023 Admit Card), Name and Date of Birth to get the results of JKCET 2023. Click on the “Submit” button to view the result of JKCET 2023.

Generation of Result of JKCET Merit List 2023

Candidates read the following section to understand better how JKCET 2023 merit list is generated and the factors associated with the process. 

• Qualifying Exams: The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (12th class) by the candidates. This is applicable only when the entrance examination is not conducted.
• Marks and Eligibility: After JKCET Exam, the selection of candidates for admission into a programme will depend on their performance. Along with this performance parameter, eligibility criteria is considered.
• Authority: J&K board prepares the merit list. This list is entirely based on a student's performance. Therefore, a candidate with a high score will get a higher rank. Merit list is generated for Open Category and Reserved category students
• Inter-se-merit: For the purpose of allotment of seats to the reserved category candidates in Government Engineering Colleges inter-se-merit is practised.
• Inter-se-merit within each reserved category shall be taken into consideration.
• Seat Sharing: If the number of candidates belonging to a reserved category is less than the number of seats available for that category, the resultant vacancies shall be filled by aspirants from Open Category. However, seats are filled purely on the basis of merit.
• Tie Breaker Scenario: In case two or more candidates have obtained the same marks in the entrance test, the inter- se-merit of such candidates shall be determined by taking into account:
  • Marks obtained in the Mathematics Section of the Entrance test,
  • Marks obtained in the Physics Section of the Entrance test, if marks obtained in Mathematics Section are equal,
  • Marks obtained in the Chemistry Section of the Entrance test if marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics sections are equal,
  • Finally, if tie prevails even when the first three components were considered, then an aspirant older in age will be given preference.

JKCET 2023 Reservation

The following table presents the percentage of seats reserved for each individual category.

JKCET 2023 Toppers

The JKBOPEE will make the JKCET toppers 2023 in order of inter-se merit of students in the entrance test in descending order for the open merit category and similarly for each reserved category individually.

For allotment of seats to the reserved category students in government engineering colleges, inter-se-merit within each reserved category will be taken into regard.

JKCET Result 2023 Tie-Breaking Policy

In case two or more prospects obtain the same number of marks in the entrance test, the inter-se-merit of such students shall be determined by taking into account

• Marks secured in the Mathematics part of the JKCET.

• Marks secured in Physics part of the JKCET if marks obtained in the Mathematics part are equal.

• Marks secured in the Chemistry part of the JKCET if marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics part are equal.

• If marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry parts are equal, candidates more senior in age will be assumed higher on merit.

JKCET 2023 Counselling

Candidates who will secure a rank have to partake in the counselling of JKCET 2023. JKCET counselling 2023 will be held online. The board will release another counselling notification mentioning the dates and procedure.

Candidates have to register online for the counselling and fill in their choices of institutes and courses as per their preference. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the merit list.
