JKCET 2021 Results Information

  • JKCET 2021 Results Date: Candidates can check the JKCET 2021 Result, which will be declared on the official website.

  • JKCET 2021 Answer Key: After the conclusion of Entrance Test, the answer key shall be displayed on BOPEE’s website in the evening of the date of JKCET Exam if not, latest by 12 noon on next day. It shall remain on the website for three days.

  • Challenge for Answer Key: If an aspirant feels that his or her answer is right then he or she may submit a representation along with proper proof from standard textbook within three working days after the commencement of JKCET 2021 Exam. They will have to submit it in the BOPEE’s office at Srinagar or Jammu along with the payment receipt of Rs. 1000/- per representation per paper at the POS terminal at J&K BOPEE office Jammu/ Srinagar.

  • Credentials: The results can be viewed with the help of the admit card by providing the username and password on the JKCET official website.

Viewing JKCET 2021 Results

  • Official Website: All aspirants are required to visit the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) to gain access to JKCET 2021 Results. They have to click on the link which is given to download the results

  • Credentials: Every test-taker has to fill up the information like Roll Number (which is provided in the JKCET 2021 Application form and JKCET 2021 Admit Card), Name and Date of Birth to get the results of JKCET 2021. Click on the “Submit” button to view the result of JKCET 2021.

Note: All interested candidates are required to download and take a print out of the JKCET 2021 Results and keep it until the end of admission process.

Generation of Merit List for JKCET 2021 Results

  • Qualifying Exams: Merit list shall be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (12th class) by the candidates. This is applicable only when the entrance examination is not conducted.

  • Marks and Eligibility: After JKCET Exam, the selection of candidates for admission into a programme will depend on their performance. Along with this performance parameter, eligibility criteria is considered.

  • Authority: J&K board prepares the merit list. This list is entirely based on a student's performance. Therefore, a candidate with high score will get higher rank. Merit list is generated for Open Category and Reserved category students

  • Inter-se-merit: For the purpose of allotment of seats to the reserved category candidates in Government Engineering Colleges inter-se-merit is practiced.

  • Inter-se-merit within each reserved category shall be taken into consideration.

  • Seat Sharing: If the number of candidates belonging to a reserved category is less than the number of seats available for that category, the resultant vacancies shall be filled by aspirants from Open Category. However, seats are filled purely on the basis of merit.

  • Tie Breaker Scenario: In case two or more candidates have obtained the same marks in the entrance test, the inter- se-merit of such candidates shall be determined by taking into account:

    • Marks obtained in Mathematics Section of the Entrance test,

    • Marks obtained in Physics Section of the Entrance test, if marks obtained in Mathematics Section are equal,

    • Marks obtained in Chemistry Section of the Entrance test if marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics sections are equal,

    • Finally, if tie prevails even when the first three components were considered, then an aspirant older in age will be given preference.
