Kashmir University admission for 2025 is primarily based on a combination of merit in the qualifying examination and performance in university-conducted entrance examinations (KUET) or national-level tests like JEE MainCMATUGAT, and BOPEE. Scholarship Description
Merit Scholarship Two merit holders in any course are eligible for 2 merit scholarships. It is granted on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test. Students enrolled in the final year of M.A./M.Sc/M.Com can avail of scholarships based on merit scores.
Research Scholarship There are four scholarships in each department that are awarded for carrying out research leading to the award of Ph.D./ M.Phil degrees. In addition, they will also receive a grant for meeting miscellaneous expenses annually.
Student Aid It is financial assistance offered to meritorious students who come from low-income groups. The university also provides assistance to students with a poor economic background with preference being given to students who are orphans.
