Nationality: The candidates must be a permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir. No foreign students are eligible to apply for JKCET 2019.
Age Criteria: The applicants must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2019 to satisfy the eligibility to write on JKCET 2019 Exam date. There is no upper age limit bar for candidates to apply for the exam as per JKCET 2019 official website.
Education Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 to satisfy the eligibility criteria to write JKCET 2019 Exam.
Subjects: Candidates must pursue Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English from a recognized Board or University of Jammu and Kashmir to fulfil the eligibility criteria for JKCET 2019.
Aggregate marks: A general candidate student must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, set as the eligibility criteria by BOPEE for JKCET 2019.
Certificates: Candidates who are seeking admission through JKCET 2019 reservation scheme will have to upload the attested copy of the valid reserved category certificate to fulfil the eligibility criteria for JKCET Exam.
Note: If the candidate fails to upload the certificate during the JKCET 2019 application process or the certificate is found invalid, then they will be treated as Open Merit Candidate during JKCET 2019 admission process.
Seat allocation: The seats under central pool will be allocated to the candidates on the basis of the merit ranks secured by them. Only JKCET 2019 qualified candidates will be considered for allotment of seats under this category.
Proof: An affidavit that no other member of the family has got the benefit of this category is to be submitted by the candidates who are seeking JKCET 2019 registration/ admission through Central Pool seats.
