The BITSAT 2024 Merit List will contain the names of the candidates who qualify for the exam and are eligible for admission to BITS, Pilani. The authorities will also prepare a waitlist for candidates who are not included in the admit list.
For the admission process, there are going to be two separate BITSAT Rank List 2024 that will be prepared. One of the lists will be for all the programs except the B.Pharm program, while the other list will be only for the BPharm program.

How is the BITSAT Merit List Prepared?
The merit list for BITSAT is prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the exam and their eligibility for admission to the BITS campuses. Some important points for the preparation of the BITSAT 2024 Merit List include:
- There will be two merit lists.
- One merit list is prepared specifically for a Bachelor's in Pharmacy.
- The other merit list is prepared for all the programs offered at BITS.
- The names of the candidates on the BITSAT merit list are prepared on the basis of their BITSAT scores.
- Only the names of the eligible candidates will appear on the BITSAT Merit List.

A candidate must fulfil certain requirements to hold a position of merit in the list. These include:
- Students must obtain the required minimum marks in the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of the 12th examination.
- Students must submit an admission application form with 12th marks and choices for different courses offered at the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses.
Tie Breaker in BITSAT 2024
If two or more students obtain the same marks, then the tie-breaking rules are applied to prepare the merit list. The tie-breaking rules are as follows:
- The scores obtained in Mathematics (Biology for B. Pharm) will be considered for separating the students with the same scores.
- If the tie still exists, their scores in Physics will be considered for separation.
- If the tie persists, then their scores in Chemistry will be used to separate them.
- Finally, the total marks obtained in PCM (PCB for B.Pharm) in the XIIth examination will be considered for their separation.
BITSAT Cut Off 2024
Students must obtain the BITSAT cut off marks or more to make it to the BITSAT Merit List. The BITSAT cut off is released by the different BITS campuses. The cut off is influenced by factors such as the total number of seats, the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam, and the difficulty level of the exam.
The BITSAT cut off for 2024 will be released after the exams are conducted.

What is After BITSAT Merit List?
