BITSAT Exam Pattern 2025

The BITSAT exam is conducted for admission into engineering and pharmacy courses at multiple BITS Campuses. The students who apply for the BITSAT exam 2025 should be well aware of the exam pattern to streamline their study schedule accordingly. The BITS Pilani authorities decide the BITSAT exam pattern.

The exam is divided into four parts: Physics, Chemistry, Logical Reasoning, and English. The fourth part will either have Mathematics or Biology, depending on which exam the student has applied for. For example, the candidates applying for pharmacy will have biology in the fourth part, and candidates wishing to pursue engineering will have Mathematics.

The following are some important points about BITSAT 2025 exam pattern:

• BITSAT Exam 2025 is conducted online.
• The exam consists of Multiple questions, i.e., MCQs.
• BITSAT question paper 2025 is available in the English language only.
• A total of 150 multiple-choice questions are in the paper. The time duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
• The total marks for the examination are 450.
• The exam has a negative marking for every wrong answer. For each correct answer, 3 marks are awarded. One mark is deducted for every incorrect answer, and no marks are added or deducted if the question is left unattempted.

After attempting all 150 questions, if the time remains, there's an option to attempt 12 extra questions. Four questions will be from the Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology sections. Candidates should note that once they decide to start with these 12 questions, they will not be able to go back to the 150 questions attempted previously.

Attempting these extra 12 questions will give the candidate a higher scope to get admission into one of the BITS campuses.

BITSAT Syllabus 2025

BITSAT 2025 candidates can refer to the NCERT syllabus of the 11th and 12th standards to prepare for various topics. The syllabus will include various topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. BITSAT Reference Books 2025

BITSAT 2025 is an entrance exam for getting admission into B.Pharm and B.Tech programs at various BITS campuses. BITSAT paper has a different syllabus and exam pattern according to the respective course. The engineering BITSAT 2025 syllabus has Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, whereas the pharmacy entrance test is composed of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. BITSAT Application Form 2025 Session 2

The BITSAT 2025 application form for session 2 concluded on June 10, 2025. The session 1 application forms were available from Jan 20 to Apr 24, 2025. 

The authorities also provided the BITSAT application form correction window from Jun 13 to Jun 14, 2025. Candidates could make changes to basic fields like date of birth, mother's name, place of birth and more.

BITSAT 2025 Registration

Candidates are first required to register before filling in their BITSAT 2025 application form. Then, candidates must log into the admission portal of BITSAT 2025 and register by clicking on the “New Registration” tab. Candidates who have already registered can skip this.

The details required while registering for the application form are given below:

Steps to Fill BITSAT 2025 Application Form

It is advised that candidates read all the application guidelines and instructions carefully and then click on the 'Allow Me to Apply Online' option.

• Step 1: Registration: This is the first step in the BITSAT 2025 application process and requires the candidates to give details such as a valid phone number, mail ID, etc.
• Step 2: Filling Online BITSAT Application Form: Proceed to fill out the application form with more personal details.
• Step 3: Uploading of Scanned Images: Upload a scanned image of the signature and a scanned photograph to be uploaded as per the given size instructions and other required documents.
• Step 4: Payment of BITSAT Application Fee: Pay the application fees through any online mode.

After the candidates have successfully submitted their online application form, the BITSAT 2025 application form number will be generated. Candidates should keep it safe as this would be required for future references during counselling and other processes.

Only selective details of the BITSAT 2025 application form can be edited after the candidates have submitted the form when the correction window is open. Therefore, it is advised that before submitting their application forms, candidates must review their forms and check if any changes are required.

BITSAT 2025 Application Fees

BITSAT 2025 candidates will be asked for centre preferences for taking the BITSAT 2025 exam. Candidates got the option to choose centres from within India and Dubai.

• If a candidate opts to write the exam in India, then they will have to provide three preferences and the allotted exam centre will be one of their preference.
• If a candidate opts for a Dubai centre, they will not be asked for any centre preference and will be allotted a Dubai centre only.

BITSAT Admit Card 2025 Session 2

BITSAT 2025 admit card for session 2 was made available on the official website from Jun 20, 2025, onwards. Registered candidates can download the admit cards by providing their application number and password. The session 1 hall tickets were made live from May 23, 2025.

Candidates are advised to take a printout of the admit card as it is an important document required for the examination, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Therefore, candidates must preserve their BITSAT admit cards for future reference.

The BITSAT hall ticket includes details like the candidate's name, photograph and signature, application number, test centre details, test date, test time, date of the exam, test slot, and exam instructions.

Discrepancy: In case of any discrepancy or incorrect information on the BITSAT 2025 admit card, one may report to the conducting authority to generate a new admit card with the correct information.

Note: This admit card has to be preserved because candidates have to produce it during the admission process.

Steps to Download BITSAT 2025 Admit Card

The BITSAT admit card is available on the official website at bitsadmission.com. Candidates have to download it and keep it in their possession throughout the admission process. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the BITSAT 2025 successfully admit card:

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the BITS official website.
• Step 2: Click on the respective link to download the hall ticket/admit card.
• Step 3: Enter the application number and password, and log in.
• Step 4: Download and take a printout of the admit card.

BITSAT Exam Centres 2025

The BITSAT 2025 exam centres for the session 2 exam have been announced on the official website with the release of the official brochure. The exam centres listed for the exam include Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pilani. The BITSAT exam centres 2025 are subject to change according to the candidates' preferences.

BITS released the session 2 exam centre allotment list on Jun 16, 2025, on the official website. Candidates can check their allotted city by using their application number and password. The authorities released the list of all exam centres in India and abroad, from which the candidates selected 3 preferred exam centres.

For Dubai, candidates must choose only one BITSAT test centre. The authorities concerned will allot the exam centres of BITSAT 2025 according to candidates' preferences, but it may not be the candidates' first preference if any unavoidable circumstances arise.

The admit card for the BITSAT 2025 will have the exam centre details, including the name and address of the allotted exam centre, mentioned on it. BITSAT will be conducted at 50 exam centres across India, while outside India, it will only be conducted at the Dubai exam centre.

Documents Required at BITSAT 2025 Exam Centre

Candidates attempting the BITSAT Exam 2025 have to follow a pre-defined set of instructions by the official authorities. Candidates have to carry certain mandatory documents to the BITSAT exam centre; if they fail to carry one of the following documents, they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.
