The BITSAT Counselling 2023 will be conducted online. BITS conducts its seat allotment session fee payment online as well.

• There are multiple rounds of counselling in BITSAT. 
• During the online counselling process of BITSAT, candidates will be given a choice to set their preference for study centres. There are 3 BITS centres nationwide, Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.
• The authority releases the name list for each counselling session within a few weeks.
• Candidates with good scores in BITSAT will be able to secure their names in the first few Counselling sessions.
• During the counselling sessions, the Candidates will be able to know the colleges accepting BITSAT scores and the minimum score required for the respective college.
• After a successful counselling session where the candidate has secured a seat in any of the 3 BITS college centres, the candidate will be required to visit the college for further admission process.

BITSAT Tie-Breaking Criteria 2023

Tie-breaking rules play an important role in determining the rank of a candidate when two or more candidates score the same BITSAT scores. BITSAT has set some Tie-Breaking criteria and candidates can refer to the points below to know how it works.

• If there is a tie between two or more candidates with the same BITSAT score, the candidate with the highest score in Mathematics or Biology will be given the opportunity to rank higher.
• If the tie still exists, the candidate with the highest score in Physics will be placed in the higher position.
• If the tie still continues, then the candidate with the highest score in Chemistry will be preferred.
• If the tie still exists then the candidate with the highest marks in the 12th Class will be placed at the higher rank.
