MGU CAT Application Form 2024 last date to apply has been extended till May 5, 2024.
MGU CAT 2023 eligibility criteria is decided by Mahatma Gandhi University. All the candidates must carefully go thoroughly check the eligibility standards applying for MGU CAT 2023 exam. MGU CAT 2023 is a university level entrance exam, which offers admission to 27 postgraduation courses in Mahatma Gandhi University.

MGU CAT Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility for all the programs is a bachelor's degree. Candidates can check the below table for the eligibility criteria for various programs. MGU CAT 2023 exam eligibility conditions are broadly classified into the following courses.

| M.Sc. Computer Science | Candidate must have a B.Sc degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/BCA or any other B.Sc degree with Computer Science as the main subject. The minimum marks obtained should be 50% to satisfy the eligibility criteria for MGU CAT 2023. |
| Master of Tourism and Travel Management specialization in 1) Aviation Management, 2) Tour Operations and 3)Health Tourism | The candidate must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in any discipline of the MGU University or any other University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University to satisfy the eligibility criteria for MGU CAT 2023. |

| M.A. Economics | The Candidate must be a bachelor’s degree holder in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics with at least 45% marks or CGPA of 1.8 in Core and Complementary subjects or equivalent degree from an institution approved by Mahatma Gandhi University to satisfy the eligibility criteria for MGU CAT 2023. |
MGU CAT 2023 Category-Wise Reservation
Out of total seats available in the university there is a reservation for some categories like as mentioned below. The candidate falling under these categories can make use of the concessions.
- Reservation of Persons with Disability: 3% of total university seats with respect to the program are reserved for this category.
- EWS: The reservation of this category is 7.5% for non-professional courses and 6.5% for professional courses.
- Teacher's Quota: One seat is reserved for the teacher's quota. It is for teachers who are working in govt aided schools/ colleges and serving full time.
- Foreign Student's Quota: An additional 10% of seats or 2 seats are reserved for foreign students who are ambitiously looking for PG courses
Mandatory Reservations: The candidates who fall into this category can avail themselves of the concessions.
