Chitkara University was established in 2010 and is recognized by notable bodies like UGC, NCTE, NIC, and IIC. It is affiliated with NCHMCT.  The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in engineering, business and accounting, hospitality and hotel management, computer application programs, maritime studies, design, planning & architecture, health and pharmaceutical sciences, etc. Admissions are based on scores in JEE Main, MAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT, CUET, UCEED, SAT, NATA and CMAT.

It is spread across 50 acres and has modern amenities like Auditorium Computational facilities and ISO 9001-2000 Certified high-tech laboratories. Chitkara University Eligibility Criteria

BTech. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed XII with a minimum aggregate of 50% or secured 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.
• The candidate must have a JEEMain scorecard.

M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have at least a 55% score in B.Tech / MCA (for Computer Science)
• Candidates must clear an online coding test followed by a personal interview (for Computer Science)
• Candidates must have completed B.E/ B.Tech/ AMIE in Mech/ Auto/ Prod/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics (for Automotive)
• A valid GATE scorecard.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed a master's Degree from any recognized University/other qualification in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Candidates must qualify in the Entrance Examination conducted by the University at the national level on the pattern of UGC, followed by an interview.
