Candidates who pass AGC NEST 2024 will receive an email with a Provisional Admission Letter. The admission letter will include vital information such as scholarship information, tuition structure, online course fee payment, document uploading, hostel allotment (if applicable), and the start date and time of the academic session.
AGC NEST is an AGC National Entrance Scholarship Test for admission to B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BHMCT, B.Sc Fashion Design, and B.Com (Hons) degrees. AGC NEST qualifying applicants are also eligible for scholarships of up to INR 1.5 lakhs.

The students who intend to appear for the AGC NEST 2024 exam should register online using the official exam portal available on the official website of AGC. There are 4 levels for the AGC NEST 2024 exam: registration, account verification, payment, and scholarship examination.
How to Register for the AGC NEST 2024 Exam?
The applicants may follow the steps given below to register for the exam.
- Step 1: Visit the official website for AGC NEST 2024 - agcnest.in.
- Step 2: The registration form appears when you open the site. Enter the required details such as name, email ID, phone number, and other personal details.
- Step 3: The name of the candidate and their parent's name should be filled in correctly as they appear on the candidate's certificates.
- Step 4: After completing the application form, the details should be verified with an OTP (One-Time Password) sent to the candidate's contact number.

Payment of Fees: Online Mode
- Step 5: Click the "Next" button after entering the OTP.
- Step 6: The candidate can proceed with the payment of the fees once the payment form is available.
- Step 7: The application form is integrated with the payment gateway. The registration fee per candidate is INR 1000/-.
- Step 8: The payment can be made using debit cards (Rupay/MasterCard/VISA/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/mobile wallets/UPI.
- Step 9: After the payment, the candidate can select the date and time to appear for the AGC NEST.
- Step 10: The system generates a provisional registration number and password, displays it on the screen, and sends it via SMS and email. The applicant should note down the details as well.
AGC NEST Fee 2024
The online registration fee for AGC NEST is INR 500 (applicable to all courses). This extends test eligibility until Jun 30, 2024. However, starting Jul 1, 2024, a cost of INR 500 is required if the student does not attend the test before Jun 30, 2024, acquiring validity till the end of the month.
The application cost must be paid in full online. Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets/UPI are all acceptable methods of payment.

AGC NEST 2024 allows students to enter any field they like. Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, and Law. The Amritsar Group of Colleges offers NBA-accredited courses that allow students to pursue higher studies in foreign universities after completing their courses at AGC.
The Amritsar College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) is an autonomous institute approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The AICTE has approved the Amritsar Pharmacy College (APC), PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), New Delhi, PSBTE & I.T., Chandigarh. The Amritsar Law College (ALC) has been approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.
AGC also meets most of the criteria for recruiting agencies as they are NAAC accredited (Grade 'A'). It is also an AICTE-approved Engineering college in Punjab affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala (A government university).

The candidates are supposed to clear the AGC NEST examination for admission into the courses mentioned above. The students who qualify for AGC NEST 2024 are eligible for receiving up to INR 1.5 lakhs scholarship amount. However, the institution offers a few courses that do not require a candidate to write the AGC NEST but must register for the examination. The conditions for such courses are given below.
- B.Voc. courses such as B.Voc. (Hospital & Catering Management/Automobile Servicing/Software Development), D. Pharmacy, and B.Tech ECE admissions are based on marks obtained by the students in class 12.
- The marks acquired by an applicant in a previously completed diploma are considered for admission into B.Tech-LEET, B.Pharmacy-LEET, B.Sc. Medical Lab Sciences- LEET and BBA-LEET courses.
- For LEET programs of MBA/MCA and M.HMCT/M.Tech (CSE/ME/ECE/CE) admission is based on marks obtained in graduation.
Scholarship for admissions to the courses that do not require the entrance test is decided based on the marks obtained in the diploma/previous graduation level.
Note: Candidates who applied for the courses that do not require the examination to be written could also have received 20% of the scholarship based on the "Early-Bird Registration" scheme till May 31, 2024. These candidates' scholarships are given based on the marks in their previous qualifying examinations.

AGC NEST 2024 Results
AGC NEST 2024 result is displayed on the candidates' computer screens soon after the test is completed. The scholarship amount is chosen depending on the test scores earned by the candidates.
