PESSAT Eligibility Criteria Overview

No age limit.
BTech/BE: Passed 12th with a minimum of 60% aggregate. B.Arch/BBA/BBA-HEM: Passed 12th. M.Tech/MBA/MCA: Graduation degree. M.Sc.(Engineering)/Ph.D: Masters degree.

Eligibility Criteria for PESSAT 2019:

Candidates have to satisfy the eligibility criteria given below before appearing in PESSAT 2019 exam:

  • Nationality: The candidates applying for PESSAT 2019 examination must be a citizen of India.

  • Qualification: The candidate should have scored at least 60% of aggregate marks in their 12th standard examination for admission into courses like BTech/B.E, B.Arch, BBA, BBA-HEM and passed their graduation with at least 60% of aggregate marks for admission into courses like MBA, MCA, M.Tech.

Under-Graduate Courses:

BTech/BE (Biotechnology/ Civil Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering): 60% in PCM in 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board (CBSE,ICSE,State,IGCSE,IB)

B.Arch: Grade 10+2 

BBA: Grade 10+2

BBA-HEM (Hotel and Event Management): Grade 10+2

Post-Graduate Courses:

M.Tech (Manufacturing Science and Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ VLSI Design and Embedded Systems/ Digital Communication/ Automotive Technology/ Software Engineering/ Power Electronics/ Web Technology/ Cloud Computing and Big Data/ Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems/ Signal Processing/ Smart Power Controls/ Machine Design/ Thermo-Fluids Engineering): 10+2+BTech/BE in Relevant Branch

MBA: Duration: Grade 10+2+3 or 4

MCA: Duration: Grade 10+2+3 or 4

M.Sc. (Engineering):  Masters in appropriate branches

PhD: Masters in appropriate branches
