PESSAT Eligibility Criteria Overview

No age limit.
BTech/BE: Passed 12th with a minimum of 60% aggregate. B.Arch/BBA/BBA-HEM: Passed 12th. M.Tech/MBA/MCA: Graduation degree. M.Sc.(Engineering)/Ph.D: Masters degree.

PESSAT Eligibility Criteria 2020 

Candidates applying for the PESSAT examination must satisfy some basic eligibility guidelines laid down by the Conducting body of the PESSAT examination. Each candidate must read the eligibility criteria of the PESSAT examination before applying for it. Eligibility criteria for filling the PESSAT 2020 Application Form for engineering & other courses are given below:

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech Course

To be eligible to appear for PESSAT exam, a B.Tech aspirant has to fulfill all the following criteria given below: 

  • Nationality: Candidates who are applying for the entrance exam must be an Indian Citizen.
  • Qualification Criteria: Candidates should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

  • Subjects: Applicants must have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as major subjects.

  • Minimum Marks Required: Aspirants needs to have secured an aggregate of at least 60% marks in the qualifying PESSAT 2020 exam.

  • Test Score: For B.Tech programme admission aspirants should have cleared PESSAT (National level exam) or KCET (State level exam) test score.

  • Recognized Board: For courses PES, only the candidates of CBSE, ICSE, State, IB, and IGCSE boards will be preferred for admissions. If aspirants are from other boards, they will need to take prior permission before they opt for admissions.

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For M.Tech Course

To be eligible to appear for PESSAT exam, M.Tech aspirant has to fulfill all the following criteria given below:

  • Qualification Criteria: Candidates need to have completed BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university. Candidates should have studied in a branch which is relevant to the branch that they are applying.
  • Test Scores: Candidates must have a test score in one of the following exam
    • PGCET 
    • GATE

    • PESSAT

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For BBA/BBA-HEM Course

Students wanting to pursue BBA/BBA-HEM has to fulfill the following given criteria:

  • Qualification Criteria: Candidates who are applying for BBA /BBA-HEM course should have finished their 10+2 or equivalent examination in any of the streams from a recognized board.

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For MBA Course

Students wanting to pursue MBA course has to fulfill the following given criteria:

  • Qualification Criteria: Candidate must have qualified and should have a bachelor degree from a recognized University.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% from the qualifying degree from any recognized university.
  • Pursuing an MBA: Aspirants who are already appearing in MBA can also apply.
  • Test Score: Aspirants should have test scores in the following exams:
    • PESSAT

    • PGCDG

    • MAT

    • CMAT

    • CAT

    • GMAT

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For MCA Course

Here is a list of criterion that an individual must satisfy to apply for the MCA course of PESSAT exam:

  • Qualification Criteria: Applicants should have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognized university.

  • Subjects: Candidates must have passed in the qualifying exam as one of the elective subjects with Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Business Mathematics or Computer Programming or Business Statistics.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam.

  • Test Score: Candidates who are willing to apply should have a test score in PESSAT and PGCET.

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For B.Arch & BA LLB Courses

The B.Arch and BA LLB course eligibility criteria include the following list of havings:

  • NATA Score Card: Candidates should have written the NATA exam, should have a NATA score to get admission into the B. Arch Program.

  • CLAT Score Card: Candidates who have passed the Clat exam can apply for getting admission into the BBA LLB program.

  • Application Form: Candidates who are applying through CLAT/NATA score should fill the PESSAT 2020 application form and should upload their CLAT/NATA score.

  • Qualification Criteria: Candidates should qualify 10+2 examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks and it is mandatory to study mathematics for the B.Arch course.

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria For B.Des Course

For anyone who wants to apply for B.Des need to fulfill every criterion enlisted here to be an eligible candidate for PESSAT exam:

  • Qualification Criteria: Aspirants should have successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board in any stream.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates should have at least a minimum of 60% mark to qualify the above exam.

  • Score: Aspirants need to have a test score in PESSAT & UCEED.

The eligibility criteria for a mechanical engineering student applying for PESSAT 2017 are mentioned below:
