The Mudra Institute of Communications in Ahmedabad conducts the exam in two phases: Phase 1 and Phase 2. The phase 1 registration will start in September 2025, while the Phase 2 application will be held in November 2025. The registration process for the Phase 2 MICAT exam is same as that of the first phase. Those who could not apply for the MICAT I exam can go for the MICAT II registration.
MICA Ahmedabad provides MICAT registrations for both exam phases separately. The MICAT 2026 application form requires you to provide personal, academic, and professional experience information. In addition, you must supply an image and signature in the format specified. Payment of the MICAT registration fee will result in the final submission of the MICAT form.

Steps to Fill the MICAT 2026 Application Form
You can find the link to apply on the page below. The process has been broken down into registration, entering personal details, payment of fee and finally the submission after cross-verification of the entered information. Find the detailed procedure in the points below.
Step 1: Registration
You will have to visit the official website and select the "Apply Online" button from the menu bar. The registration must be done by submitting a registered number and email ID. Following this, the verification code will be sent. Enter the same onto the space and submit. You are successfully registered for MICAT 2026 now.
Step 2: Filling out Details
You will now have to complete the form by adding all the details which include personal details, educational qualifications and more. You will have to produce the relevant information along with documentation proof.
The ones who have registered but do not finish the application form will NOT be considered for the exam.
Step 3: Application via CAT/XAT/MAT
You must enter your entrance exam details such as Roll number, scorecard details and more to apply via the said exams.
Step 4: Uploading of Documents
You will now have to upload the required documents and original certificates for verification. This includes 10/12 markscard, ID proof, minority certificates and more in the specified format only.
Photograph and Signature
You have to upload your recent passport photograph and signature while filling out the MICAT 2026 Application Form. The specifications for file size are given below.

Step 5: Fee Payment
You will now be directed to the MICAT application fee payment page. Each of you will have to complete the payment to be considered valid for the exam. There will be no late fee or any extension in the fee payment hence it is vital to complete the fee payment as soon as possible. After the payment, you can submit the form and download the receipt.
Examination Fee for MICAT 2026
You have to pay an amount for the application process. The fee remains the same for all the categories.
Payment Mode: The payment can be done online mode. You can choose to pay by Credit Card/Debit Card/banking.
You can also make the payment via Demand Draft (DD). This should be drawn in the favour of MICA payable at Ahmedabad via BLUE DART courier. The printed copy of the DD must be sent to the address given below.

MICAT 2026 Exam Centre

Documents Required for MICAT 2026 Application Form
Certain certificates and documents are needed as you fill the form for MICAT 2026. This will ensure that invalid data is not entered onto the form which might result in disqualification of the entire application. The list of documents needed is given below.

- Net banking facilities
You can submit your forms and take a copy of the same for future reference. It must be noted that no edits can be made after the submission is made. There is no refund if you decide to withdraw the application as well.
