What is AIECST?
AIECST stands for All India Entrance Cum Scholarship Test. It is a university level entrance exam that the APG Shimla University conducts to provide students with access to undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses, as well as scholarships to students who have financial problems and aren't able to afford such a big amount for higher education, can take up this exam.
AIECST's main aim is to bridge the gap between ambition and knowledge for deserving students by providing the best education and funding for their higher education. The exam will be held in online mode.

AIECST 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria to attempt the AIECST 2023 exam has been categorised into two categories, i.e. for undergraduate, diploma and postgraduate candidates, they have been listed below.
For Undergraduate Courses
Candidates who have scored 50% or more marks in their secondary education (10+2) or a student appearing for secondary education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/HBSE/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).
For Postgraduate Courses
Students who have scored 50% or more marks in their graduation or students appearing for graduation from a recognized University.
AIECST 2023 Application Form
Candidates can apply for AIECST via online as well as offline mode.The application form is available for a fee of INR 1000.
Online Process
Step 1: Visit the official website, admission.agu.edu.in
Step 2: User ID & Password will be sent to your registered Email ID.
Step 3: Log in at admission.agu.edu.in with your login credentials.
Step 4: Pay Application Fee INR 1000 (Non-Refundable) Online
Step 5: Fill the application form with your relevant details & Upload the Necessary Documents.
Step 6: Book your seat by paying INR 10000 at Provisional Admission Option. Forward documents to [email protected].
Step 7: For Hostel Booking, pay INR 10000 at Hostel Fees Option.
Step 8: After the verification process the admission confirmation update will be given to you on your registered email.

Through Scholarship - All India Entrance Cum Scholarship Test
- Step 1: Visit the official website, admission.agu.edu.in
- Step 2: User ID & Password will be sent to your registered Email ID.
- Step 3: Log in at admission.agu.edu.in/cet with your login credentials.
- Step 4: Pay Application Fee INR1000 (Non-Refundable) Online
- Step 5: Fill the application form with your relevant details & Upload the Necessary Documents.
- Step 6: Students will be informed about the APGSU Aptitude test within 5 days of successful online registration.
- Step 7: Merit will be generated on the basis of an online test.
- Step 8: After successfully qualifying the online test, book your seat by paying INR 10000 at Provisional Admission Option, Also you need to forward documents to [email protected].
- Step 9: For Hostel Booking, pay INR 10000 at Hostel Fees Option.
- Step 10: After the verification process your admission confirmation update will be given to you on your registered email.
Offline Application Process
- Step 1: Download the application form from the website or procure from University. www.agu.edu.in
- Step 2: Send the filled application form along with DD of INR 1000 (Non-Refundable) to the University address: Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University, Mehli- Shogi Bypass Road, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.
- Step 3: After successfully receiving the filled application form, the forms will be scrutinized.
- Step 4: Students will be intimated about the date of the offline test.
- Step 5: After the result of the test, on the basis of merit list, candidates will have to pay a full registration amount of INR 10000 (Security Deposit) if the student wishes to confirm the admission.
- Step 6: At the time of admission, a full semester fee will be deposited . For the last step student visits the University, the student will be counseled and will have to pay full fees.
