Qualification
Passed 10+2 or equivalent (Minimum 60% in PCM)

AEEE 2020 Eligibility

Aspirants who are willing to take admission should meet the eligibility criteria provided by conducting authority.

AEEE 2020 Eligibility Highlights

Various criteria which the student should meet are in the following table.

Age Applicants of AEEE 2020 whose date of birth, as per school records, falls on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible.
Qualification AEEE 2020 applicants must pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination.
Aggregate An aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.
Lateral Entry Candidates of AEEE 2020 with a minimum of 60% in a diploma course in engineering awarded by any State Board Technical Education are also eligible.

AEEE 2020 Eligibility Details

  • Age: Candidates appearing for the AEEE 2020 should be at least 18 years old.

  • Qualification: All candidates appearing for test should have a minimum qualification of Class XII or PUC equivalent. 

  • Aggregate: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and should not have scored less than 55% marks in each of the subjects in their qualifying examination.

  • Diploma candidates: Candidates applying for AEEE 2020 should have a minimum of 60% aggregate in a diploma course in engineering awarded by any State Board Technical Education are also eligible.

  • Students studying in Class XII/ PUC: Students who are currently in second year of high school/pre-university college(XII/PUC), can also appear for AEEE 2020 examinations, but they are eligible only if they secure minimum marks mentioned.

Note: Those who appear for above examination in March or April 2020 and who are expecting to secure more than minimum marks which is mentioned above above, may also apply.


AEEE 2020 NRI Eligibility

  • Exception: Generally, NRI candidates are disallowed from appearing in examination but candidates who are studying(Class XII/PUC) in India but whose either parent is an NRI are eligible to apply for AEEE 2020 through application form available on official website.

  • Process and Documents: Application process for interested candidates for AEEE 2020 involves need to register their names and choice of branch, campus with Directorate of Corporate and Industry Relations by filling the student Application Form; they also need to make a payment of US $300 by Demand Draft in favor of "Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham".

  • Admit Card: After basic Registration, Application Form submission, and Payment, Admit Card will be available online on official website on April 7, 2020.

Candidates of AEEE with a minimum of 60% in a diploma course in engineering awarded by any State Board Technical Education are also eligible.

Hello,

No, the students who are currently in the second year(+2), can also appear for AEEE 2018 examinations, but they are eligible only if they secure minimum marks.

Applicants of AEEE 2018 whose date of birth, as per school records, falls on or after 1st July 1997 are eligible.

Applicants must have passed 10+2 or class 12 to be eligible. So you are eligible as per education, but please crosscheck your date of birth with the eligibility requirement and apply.

Can a candidate who has scored a high mark in other state or entrance exam can get through AEEE?

The candidate who is interested has to apply for AEEE. Only the score in the exam conducted by Amrita University is to be accepted. No other entrance or state exam scores will be accepted.

The candidate eligible for admission in AEEE should be born on or after 1st July, 1995. All the candidates should pass Higher Secondary exam or any equivalent exam from a recognised board. The minimum percentage of 60% should have been scored by the candidate with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

For all the candidates with a Diploma course should have a minimum of 60% from any State Board Technical Education.

If a candidate has an average of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics but less than 55% marks in any of the subjects, is the candidate eligible for counselling?

  • No, the candidate is not eligible for AEEE Counselling if the candidate has not scored more than 55% marks in each of the subjects: Physics, Chemistry and mathematics.
