UPESEAT 2019 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria contain a few conditions which have to be met by all UPESEAT 2019 candidates in order to be eligible for the UPESEAT. The candidates must check their eligibility before filling UPESEAT 2019 Application form.

UPESEAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum qualifications: Candidates should have passed in their class 10th and 12th exam from any recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates should have secured a minimum 60% marks in class 10th and 12th.

  • Subjects: Candidates should have passed in class 12th exam with PCM & secured at least aggregate 60% marks.


UPESEAT 2019 Eligibility based on Age:

  • Date of birth: The candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996, will be eligible to apply for admission.

  • Age proof: Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board only will be taken as authentic.


Board Merit Criteria for UPESEAT 2019:

  • Minimum Qualification: Candidates must have completed their class 10th and 12th exam from any recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 80% marks at Higher Secondary level & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).

  • PCM Minimum marks: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to satisfy the eligibility criteria for UPESEAT 2019.


JEE Main Merit Criteria for UPESEAT 2019:

  • Minimum qualification: The candidates should have passed class 10th and 12th with 60% to satisfy the eligibility criteria for UPESEAT 2019.

  • Subjects: Candidates should have passed in class 12 or equivalent examination with Physic, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

  • JEE Main Cutoff: The cutoff rank for admission through JEE Main will be announced by UPES after the JEE main 2019 results are declared. JEE Main Cutoff to apply for UPES B.Tech is 70%

  • The eligibility criteria for the UPESEAT exam is as follows: -

    All candidates need to meet the UPESEAT eligibility criteria set by the university.  If a candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria, he or she will be considered ineligible to apply for the UPESEAT entrance test. 

  • The candidates must have completed 10th and 12th with minimum 60% marks to satisfy the eligibility criteria for UPESEAT.
  • The candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM at 10+2 to complete the requirements of the eligibility criteria for UPESEAT.
  • Age eligibility criteria for UPESEAT: -The Candidate should not be above 19 years of age.

  • Board merit admission pathway eligibility criteria for UPES: -A minimum of 80% marks in 10th and 12th exam in PCM to satisfy the eligibility criteria for UPESEAT.

  • JEE Main merit admission eligibility criteria for UPES: -The candidates should have passed 10th and 12th with 60% to satisfy the eligibility criteria for UPESEAT and the cutoff rank for admission through JEE main will be announced by UPES after the JEE main 2017 results are declared.
