DAVV CET 2023 Exam Pattern Highlights

DAVV CET 2023 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) through which admissions to various UG and PG courses of DAVV take place. These courses include MBA, M.Sc, M.Com, Bachelor of Journalism, MAJMC, B.Com, BAJMC, BA LLB, B.Voc, MCA, M.Tech, B.Pharm, and LLM  which have been divided into various groups.

DAVV CET Exam Pattern 2023- Groupwise

The DAVV CET 2023 is held so candidates can get into various courses, therefore there are various groups that the candidates can choose based on their interests. The program wise groups have been listed below.

  • Group A 1: BCom (Hons), BA (Journalism), BA Economics, Integrated MBA, BA LLB
  • Group A 2: BCA, MTech, MCA, BPharma
  • Group B 1: MBA, MA (Journalism and Mass Communication), MCom
  • Group B 2: MSc and LLM

Group A: Programmes After Graduation (PG)

Group A is a common paper for all the candidates. This paper will be in English, with 5 options for each question. The test paper shall consist of 75 questions. The sections consisting of them with the number of questions have been tabulated below.

Group B: Programmes After 10+2 (Undergraduate)

This group is for candidates who are taking up their undergraduate courses, this also consisted of 75 questions out of which 15 were of class 12th level. Here the candidates would be tested on the following topics.

Candidates opting for this group will be admitted to courses such as BA, B.LLB, B.Sc, B.Com, and MBA. 

Group C: MCA, M. Tech. (B. Tech. - M. Tech.), B. Pharm, MBA, B.Sc (Hons.)

Candidates writing for this group will be tested on 75 questions ass well, out of which 15 questions will be from English language comprehension and 20 questions from Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology (Class 12 level). The sectional distribution of the subjects for each course has been tabulated below.

DAVV CET 2023 Marking Scheme

The marking scheme is the number of marks that will be awarded and deducted as per the candidate's answers. The marking scheme for the DAVV CET 2023 has been listed below:

  • +3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
  • -1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
