Overview of the Eligibility Criteria for CG PET

Age
Between 17- 30 years of age.
Qualification
Completed 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).

CG PET Eligibility Criteria 2019

Before filling the CG PET 2019 Application Form, candidates need to check the eligibility criteria of CG PET exam.

  • Age Limit: To fill the Application Form candidate should be 17 years as on 31st December 2019 and maximum age should not be more than 30 years. Candidate belongs to SC / ST / OBC / Female / PWD, there is a relaxation of three years in the maximum age limit.

  • Education Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from the Govt. recognized central/state board with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology as their main subjects.

  • Percentage Criteria: Candidate belongs to general category, they need to have a minimum of 45% aggregate in 10+2 exam or its equivalent exam and those candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category, they need to have a minimum of 40% aggregate in 10+2 exam or its equivalent.

Candidate must be passed in 10+2 with central/state board or its equivalent

Subjects

The required subjects for this particular section are physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English

Aggregate

Candidate must have passed the 12th examination by securing 50% marks in PCM & English (40% for SC/ST/OBC)

Pursuing Candidates

Candidates who are in their final year are also eligible to apply only if they pass a qualifying exam before the counselling process

Dairy Technology

The Candidate for this particular engineering section must have completed the 17 years of age as on 31st December of CG PET 2019 

Subjects

The subjects for which the candidate must be qualified are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English

Qualification

Candidate must be passed in 10+2 with central/state board or its equivalent

Aggregate

The candidate must obtain  50% marks together in PCM and English for General category and 40% for reserved categories(SC/ST/OBC/PWD)

Yes, You need to fulfil the age criteria.

The candidate must not be more than 30 years of age as on July 1, 2018.

  • Minimum Marks: The minimum qualifying marks are 45% for General Category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH categories.
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must be passed his/her 12th class from Chhattisgarh board or equivalent board.

Eligibility Criteria for CG PET 2017 Exam is:

To appear for the examination of CG PET an individual is required to meet various requirements.

 Some of them have been explained below:

  • It is important for a CG PET aspirant to successfully complete 10+2 or equivalent from a reputed and accredited board or university. Candidates appearing for the 10+2 board examination are also eligible to appear for the examination of CG PET 2017.

  • A CG PET aspirant is required to have only Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology subjects in his or her 10+2 level.

  • Those who want to appear for the CG PET examination must be from Chattisgarh or have at least completed their 10th and 12th level from schools in Chhattisgarh.

  • CG PET aspirants must have completed their 10+2 with at least 45% marks in case of general category students.

  • CG PET aspirants from reserved category must complete their 10+2 with at least 40% marks.

  • The minimum age of a candidate to appear for the CG PET 2017 examination is 17 years as on December 31st of the year of admission.

  • The maximum age of a candidate to appear for the CG PET 2017 examination is 30 years as on July 1st, 2017.

  • If candidates are applying for a Chhattisgarh Quota seat for the CG PET 2017 examination then they are required to produce domicile certificate.

  • The candidates who want to appear for the CG PET exam must be from Chattisgarh or
  • The candidates should have completed their 10th and 12th standard exams from schools in Chattisgarh.
  • If you are from Kolkata and have studied in Kolkata then you are not eligible to attempt the CG PET exam.
