Candidates can take the CLAT exam for securing admission in Undergraduate & Postgraduate programs offered by the National Law Universities. The test is applicable only for Indian Nationals & NRIs. Foreign Nationals who want to take admission can directly consult with the concerned University in case they have seats for Foreign Nationals.

CLAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The CLAT Exam test comprises aptitude & reasoning abilities. There are a total of five sections which include- Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. A total of 150 questions will be there of multiple-choice objectives, and each will carry one mark. In case the candidate does not attempt the questions, there will be no deduction of marks. How to Prepare for CLAT Exam?

There will be no direct questions from the English Language Paper comprising concepts like vocabulary and synonyms. Therefore, candidates are requested to prepare accordingly.
For the General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, and English Language section, candidates can follow the Class XII curriculum and, for the quantitative aptitude section, candidates can follow the Class X curriculum.
