SLAT 2026 registration started on Aug 1, 2025. The last date to fill out the application form is Nov 30, 2025. The SLAT admit card 2026 is scheduled to be released on Dec 11, 2025, and Dec 18, 2025, for test 1 and test 2, respectively.

The SLAT exam 2026 will be administered twice, as Test 1 and Test 2, on Dec 20, 2025, and Dec 28, 2025, respectively, in online mode at test centres designated by SIU. The SLAT result 2026 will be announced on Jan 15, 2026, on its official website, set-test.org.

The SLS Pune, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Noida release the merit list along with their admission process. 

Candidates must download the SLAT 2026 personal interaction call letter on the scheduled dates followed by the document upload, and online personal interaction (PI).

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test, or SLAT, was held for admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB degrees at four Symbiosis Law Schools (SLSs) affiliated with SIU: SLS - Pune, SLS - Noida, SLS - Hyderabad, and SLS - Nagpur. Candidates seeking admission to participating SLAT 2026 colleges must meet the SLAT eligibility requirements 2026 to apply and take the SET Law exam. 

SLAT 2026 Result

SLAT results 2026 will be declared on Jan 15, 2026, at the official website at set-test.org. Candidates must check and download their scorecard by providing their login credentials, such as the SLAT ID and password. SLAT 2026 results for both tests 1 and 2 will be released by the conducting body.

SLAT 2026 cut off marks will be released along with the results. Qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the personal interaction and writing ability test. The official dates for the same will be announced soon after the result declaration.

SLAT 2026 Merit List

  • Counselling fees and registration: The candidate must register for the SLAT 2026 official website and register for counselling and pay the fees.

SLAT Mock Test 2026

Symbiosis International University will administer the SLAT 2026 mock test, using an online link distributed to candidates by WhatsApp, SMS, and email. Only candidates who have completed their SLAT 2026 registration by 12:00 midnight on Nov 30, 2025, will be allowed to take the mock test. The goal of this mock examination is to help candidates prepare for the entrance exam.

The SLAT Mock Test is an MCQ test. Each question prompts four responses. The candidate should select the proper response. This test has five sections: logical reasoning (12), legal reasoning (12), analytical reasoning (12), reading comprehension (12), and general knowledge (12). The mock test will last one hour.

How to take SLAT 2026 Mock Test 2026?

To take the sample test for SLAT 2026, students must follow the guidelines provided below: 

  • Step 1: Click on the mock test link sent over SMS, email, or Whatsapp. 
  • Step 2: When you click the 'Start Exam' button, a timer will start. Only one question will be displayed on your screen at a time. 
  • Step 3: To proceed, click the Next button. 
  • Step 4: If you are unsure about a question, utilize the "Mark for Review" option to remind yourself to review it before submitting the test. 
  • Step 5: A summary on the left side will show the status of your questions: answered, unanswered, marked for review, not visited, or both answered and marked for review. 
  • Step 6: Throughout the test, you are allowed to switch between sections. To remove a selected response, click "Clear." 
  • Step 7: After finishing, click the "Submit" button to send your responses. 
  • Step 8: A submission summary indicates how many questions you've answered, left unanswered, or tagged for review. 
  • Step 9: You may now either click "Submit" to complete the process or return to make adjustments.

SLAT 2026 Application Form

SLAT application form 2026 window commenced on Aug 1, 2025. The last date to submit the SLAT 2026 application form is Nov 30, 2025. Candidates can register for the SLAT 2026 online only. Candidates must register and fill in all the required information on the portal to apply successfully. Before applying for the exam, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria to make sure they meet all the required criteria.

How to Fill SLAT 2026 Application Form?

Candidates had to visit the official website and register by Nov 30, 2025. During registration, candidates must upload a passport-sized photograph. The photograph has to be uploaded when registering online, and the photograph should not be more than three months old. The steps to register for SLAT are given below:

Step 1: Registration

The candidate has to visit the official website, register themselves, and create a login ID. Afterwards, start filling out the application with the educational and personal details.

Step 2: Payment of Fees

Pay the application fee in the 'Make Payment' tab. The application fee for SLAT 2026 is INR 1950 with an additional course fee of INR 1000, and it can be paid through any of the following payment modes.

  • Billdesk Gateway
  • Indian Bank Gateway
  • Demand Draft.

Step 3: Complete the Registration Process

Now the students will have to complete part 2 of the registration procedure. In this step, the students will have to select the program they want to study and the institute they want to be admitted to. They must choose the exam centre as well.

After these steps, a confirmation mail from the university will be received with the application number. The candidates must take the print of the application form and save it for future reference.

Documents Required for SLAT 2026 Application

Candidates must upload the latest scanned color passport size photograph at the time of online registration, and the photograph should not be more than three months old. Also, candidates should note that the lighting and focus on the face in the photograph are proper. The documents required while applying are given below.

SLAT Application Fee

The SLAT application fee is INR 1950, and an additional fee of INR 1000 for each course the candidate desires to pursue. The fees can be paid through any payment mode, and please note that it is a non-refundable transaction. 

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1950 from any Nationalized Bank favouring the 'Symbiosis Test Secretariat' payable at Pune. Choose the mode of payment as ' DD Payment' in the 'Make Payment' tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the details of the DD, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at the official address.

SLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The SLAT conducting body is strict regarding eligibility, and the candidate will be removed immediately if they fail to meet any of the criteria. Therefore, before enrolling themselves for the upcoming SLAT examination, the candidates must ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility criteria mentioned on the SLAT official website. The eligibility criteria for SLAT 2026 are given below:

Academic Qualifications

The candidates have to meet every criterion laid by the University, and if the candidate is not eligible, they can be cancelled at any point of the admission process. The academic qualification required for SLAT 2026 are given below:

  • Candidates shall clear their XIIth class (under 10+2 board) or an equivalent exam. Candidates shall clear their 12th class examination in a single attempt. 
  • Those who have a compartment or have once appeared for compartment examination are not eligible for SLAT 2026. In addition, candidates who have completed their 12th class through open/distance learning and the open university system are not eligible for SLAT 2026. 
  • Candidates will be asked to submit the necessary documents at the time of admissions stating that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria of SLAT 2026 and are eligible to pursue the law program.
  • Minimum aggregate: Candidates shall secure 45%, and SC/ST category candidates must have 40% as their aggregate.

Age Limit: As per the orders of the Supreme Court, there is no age limit for students applying for law programs. 

OCI/PCO Candidates: The OCI/PIO candidates and the foreign nationals who want to study undergraduate Law courses don't need to appear for the SLAT 2026 exam. Instead, their admission can be done through the Symbiosis Center for International Education.

SLAT 2026 Admit Card

SLAT 2026 admit card for test 1 & 2 will be released on the official website on Dec 11 and Dec 18, 2025, respectively. Candidates who have successfully registered for SLAT 2026 and completed the fee payment can download the admit card through login.

An authorized person will verify and authenticate the Candidate's admit card against the photo ID on the test day. An authenticated admit card is an important document without which the candidate cannot appear for further selection processes at SIU. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate authenticated admit card will not be issued. Therefore, it should be retained till the admission process is over.

Steps to Download SLAT 2026 Admit Card

The candidates could download the admit card from the official website with their login credentials. If the login I.D. is lost, the participants could recover them with other information. However, if that was not possible, the candidates could immediately contact the organizing body. The steps to download admit card are given below:

  • Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of Symbiosis International University (SIU) - set-test.org.
  • Step 2: Go to the SLAT Page.
  • Step 3: The main page will appear. Click on the ' View admit card' on it.
  • Step 4: Use the login credentials (E-mail Id, Mobile Number, Application Number, Date of Birth, Login Id, and Password) and hit the submit button.
  • Step 5: The SLAT 2026 admit card will appear. Review it thoroughly. If anything seems incorrect, then complain immediately at the SIU helpdesk.
  • Step 6: Download the admit card irrespective of the mistakes found or not found.
  • Step 7: Take a print of the SLAT 2026 to admit card, and keep it safe. The candidates are also suggested to use cloud memory to save their admit card so that it is accessible in case of an emergency.

Note: Candidates shall paste the latest passport size, and colour photograph on the admit card at the place provided. (The photograph should not be more than three months old.)

SLAT 2026 Exam Centres

SLAT 2026 shall be conducted online across 76 cities all over India. A candidate may choose three preferences for test cities. No change of test city requests will be entertained once a candidate has completed registration for SLAT 2026. The Test Centre and its address will be printed on the admit card.
