Introduction to AIBE 2019

  • About: All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is a National level entrance examination conducted with the objective of assessing the capability of an advocate who wants to practice law in India.

  • Conducting Body: Bar Council of India (BCI) has the authority to conduct the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).

  • Medium: All India Bar Exam will be conducted in 11 languages. Candidates will have to select any one language according to their preference.

  • Certification: Candidates clearing AIBE 2019 will be awarded the "Certificate of Practice".

  • Pattern: AIBE will be conducted through offline mode i.e. Pen & Paper-based Test (PPT)

  • Marks: Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. Mark will not be deducted for wrong or unanswered questions.

  • Question and Duration: The question paper of All India Bar Exam (AIBE) will comprise of 100 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ's) for a duration of 3 Hours 30 Minutes i.e. 210 Minutes

  • AIBE 2019 Educational Qualification: To apply for AIBE 2019 exam, candidates need to pass L.L.B degree of minimum 3 years or 5 years.

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the AIBE 2019 exam. Only the candidates from India can apply for the AIBE 2019 exam.

AIBE 2019 Exam Pattern

  • AIBE 2019 Marking Scheme: Candidates will be given 1 marks for every correct answer whereas no marks will be deducted for incorrect answer.

  • AIBE 2019 Exam Mode: AIBE 2019 exam will be conducted via offline mode i.e. pen and paper mode. Candidates will have 100 multiple choice questions to answer.

Eligibility Criteria Summary for AIBE 2019:

Application Process Summary for AIBE 2019:

  • Candidates can fill the application form online on the official website of AIBE.

  • Candidates must keep necessary images/documents ready before they start filling in the AIBE 2019 application form.

  • Candidates should fill the registration form on the website, upload documents and after completion press ‘Save Button’.

  • Candidates will receive a registration number & password which will be generated and shall be sent to their mobile & email ID.

  • Candidates must put their Enrollment number with State Code as per their Enrollment Certificate.

Application Form Details Summary for AIBE 2019:

  • Candidates can apply online on the official website of the AIBE.

  • To apply, the candidates need to register on the website and then proceed to fill the required details on the application form and make payment.

  • The candidate should upload his/her documents and after completion press “Save Button” on the last page. After that registration, the number & password will be generated and shall be sent to the candidate's mobile & email ID.

  • Candidates need to enter their category and also provide the choice of three exam center in the order of preference.

  • Candidates also need to choose the question paper language.

  • Next step is to upload the documents as per the prescribed format.

  • The candidate should make payment with the printed copy of challan in the bank

  • Payment for the All India Bar Examination AIBE 2019 will be done through bank challan.

AIBE 2019 Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern Summary for AIBE 2019:

  • Exam Mode: The AIBE 2019 exam will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates have to mark the answers on OMR sheet.

  • Type of Questions: The AIBE 2019 exam will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

  • Number of Questions: There will be total 100 questions in AIBE 2019 exam.

  • Languages: AIBE 2019 exam will be conducted in 11 languages and candidates have the choice to take the examination in any one of the languages.

  • Time Duration: Candidates will be provided with 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the examination. Candidates with 80% or more disability will be provided the extra time of 20 minutes per hour.

  • Negative Marking: No negative marking in the examination, so, no mark will be deducted for the incorrect response.

AIBE 2019 Results

Results Summary for AIBE 2019:

  • The AIBE 2019 result will be declared through the online process in the official portal.

  • The AIBE 2019 result will be declared on 31st December 2019.

  • All the candidates who passed this entrance exam will receive a Certificate of Law Practice.

  • There is no provision of the declaration of the percentage, percentile, rankings, or absolute marks.

  • After the examination within two or three days, the answer key will be published on the official site.

  • If the candidates will found any discrepancy in the answer key, then they will inform the examination board in time.

  • Candidates who want to check their answer sheets themselves will have to book a time slot and visit Bar Council Of India premises as per the allotted time schedule which will be informed to them after their application is received by Bar Council Of India.

  • Under no circumstances will the Xerox of answer sheet and answer key be given to the candidate.

  • Candidates need to send the complete rechecking application in the attached format along with the Demand Draft amounting to INR 200/- in favor of Bar Council of India payable at New Delhi.
