OBC Scholarships

The OBC scholarships are provided to those deserving students belonging to OBC category and struggle to continue their education due to lack of financial resources. The government of India helps and supports the OBC scholarships for candidates to pursue further education. A list of OBC scholarships are tabulated below.

SC Scholarships

S.C. scholarships aim to motivate meritorious students belonging to backward sections of society by providing financial aid to proceed with their higher education. Furnished below is the list of scholarships for S.C. students launched by the government of India and some private institutions. The basic objective of all scholarships based on the category scheme is to provide opportunities and help them complete their higher education.

ST Scholarships

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, the government of India, offers various ST scholarships to students who belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. Scholarships are provided to help students by funding their higher studies. Several scholarship schemes for ST students in 2023 have created many opportunities for eligible applicants and aim to provide quality education to underprivileged students.

Minority Scholarships

Minority scholarships are offered by various government and private bodies for academically brilliant students belonging to minority communities who are deprived of quality education because of financial limitations. Minority communities include Christians, Jain, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians (Parsi) and the eligible students are given several opportunities to proceed with their higher studies.

Scholarships for Physically Disabled

The Government of India and some private associations provide various kinds of scholarships to differently-abled students and support them in completing their higher education. The basic objective of the scholarships for physically disabled students is to help them financially. A maximum scholarship amount of upto INR 20,00,000 is assigned for these scholarships based on category.
