Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities of Karnataka Eligibility Criteria:

The criteria that the candidates have to adhere to before applying for the scholarship are:

  • The applicant must belong to a minority community i.e Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains
  • He/ She must have scored at least 50% in their previous semester/ year examination
  • The annual family income of the candidate must not exceed INR 2 lakhs
  • Only for students of Karnataka domicile
  • Students pursuing certificate courses or correspondence education are not eligible
  • Candidates from other states studying in Karnataka are not eligible

Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities of Karnataka Rewards and Benefits:

The rewards and benefits provided under this scheme are mentioned below:

Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities (Karnataka) Application Process:

The step-by-step application procedure is furnished below:

  • Interest candidates need to visit the official website of Government of Karnataka's state scholarship portal.
  • The students will need to register as a new user and read the guidelines carefully
  • He/ She will have to fill in all the details and select Karnataka as the state of domicile
  • Once the registration process is complete, the students will need to re-login
  • The portal will complete the OTP authorization process after this
  • Now the candidate fill in the application form and upload the required documents
  • Before submitting the application, re-check all the information as no changes can be made later on

The documents required to apply for the scholarship are:

  • Fee receipts
  • Previous year/ sem marks card
  • Institute verification form
  • Income certificate issued by competent authority declared by the State Government/ UT administration
  • Self-declared Minority community certificate
  • Proof of bank account
  • Copy of Aadhaar card
  • 2 passport size photos

Selection Process Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities:

The selection of the awardees is solely based on financial income and status. If the family income of two students is the same, the older candidates will be chosen on the basis of Date of Birth.
