National Scholarship Exam Summary:

NSE is conducted by the National Institute of Career Education (NICE) Foundation. It is a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) based exam. It aims to identify and nurture talented students by helping them realize their strengths and weaknesses. The examination is designed in such a way, that it helps the students in decision making and increasing their reasoning ability. The examination is like an assessment which would determine the student's willingness to take risks and to learn more. NSE helps the students to overcome their fears and take up new challenges in the fields of education and other sectors.

  • Students from classes 5-12 can apply (SSC/ ICSE/ CBSE).
  • Students pursuing diploma courses can apply (any stream/ year/ University)

National Scholarship Exam Application Process:

  • Interested candidates can apply online by visiting http://www.niceedu.org/erp/student_signup.php
  • All the necessary details should be filled.
  • Once the registration process is complete, the candidate can log in and upload his/ her photo.
  • The student should then complete the payment process.
  • An exam fee of INR 400 per student is applicable.
  • After filling in all the details and making the payment, the application form should be submitted.
  • Students will be provided with a hall ticket which contains details like exam center, exam seat number, etc.

Mode of Exam:

  • The examination is conducted only through online links.
  • The hall ticket provides the students with his/ her username and password details also.

National Scholarship Exam Selection Process:

  • The awardees will be selected on the basis of their performance in the NSE examination.

National Scholarship Exam Results:

  • The results of the National Scholarship Examination will be declared on NICE Foundation's website -  www.niceedu.org.
  • All students, parents, teachers, schools, colleges, etc can gain information about the results through the news, notification or announcement by NICE Foundation.
